The SMM Motor Annual Conference & Industry Chain Expo (IEMC) aims to further promote the development of the motor industry. It is co-organized by the Qingdao Motor Industry Association, Huzhou Electrical Industry Chamber of Commerce, and Dongguan Magnetic Materials Industry Association, under the guidance of the Zhejiang Motor Industry Association.
Against the backdrop of the escalating global energy crisis and environmental challenges, the motor industry is rapidly evolving into a crucial component of the manufacturing sector. With increasing global emphasis on carbon emission targets, the motor sector faces an urgent need for technological innovation and upgrading. By adopting novel motor designs, advanced manufacturing processes, and new materials, the energy efficiency and performance of motors have been significantly enhanced. Leveraging its superior port conditions and complete industrial clusters, Ningbo has emerged as a vital hub for the motor industry along China's eastern coast, driving regional economic and industrial prosperity.
During the expo, a series of high-end forums and events will be held under various themes, including the "Motor Industry Development Forum," "Intelligent Robotics Industry Development Conference," "Motor Innovation & Energy-Saving Technology Forum," "Motor Innovative Materials Forum," "Magnet Wire Industry Seminar," "Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Seminar," "SMM (Inaugural) Power Transformer Industry Chain Conference," "SMM Motor Supply & Demand Matchmaking Event," "SMM Motor Industry Jury Committee," "SMM Motor Industry Annual Awards Ceremony," and "Factory Site Visits."
