SMM Motor Annual Conference

The SMM Motor Annual Conference and Industrial Chain Expo (IEMC) is organized to further promote the development of the motor industry. It is co-sponsored by the Qingdao Motor Industry Association, the Huzhou Electrical Appliance Industry Chamber of Commerce, and the Dongguan Magnetic Materials Industry Association, with guidance from the Zhejiang Province Motor Industry Association.

Against the backdrop of a global energy crisis and increasingly severe environmental challenges, the motor industry is rapidly expanding and has become an essential component of manufacturing. As countries place greater emphasis on carbon emission targets, the sector faces urgent demands for technological innovation and upgrading. Through the adoption of novel motor designs, advanced manufacturing processes, and new materials, motor efficiency and performance have been significantly enhanced. With its favorable port conditions and well-developed industrial clusters, Ningbo has emerged as a key hub for the motor industry along China’s eastern coast, driving regional economic growth and industrial prosperity.
