From May 13 to 15, 2025, the inaugural International Exhibition on Security Equipment and Technology (Intersec Shanghai) was successfully held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The event took place concurrently with the Yangtze River Delta International Expo on Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue (EDRR), creating a synergistic platform that brought together 512 domestic and international exhibitors across an exhibition space of 13,000 square meters. The show showcased cutting-edge technologies and comprehensive solutions in the fields of security, fire protection, emergency management, and occupational safety. Key highlights included artificial intelligence–based surveillance systems, integrated disaster management platforms, and advanced firefighting technologies. Together, the two exhibitions attracted 62,106 professional visitors from 27 countries and regions, with overseas attendees accounting for 4.86%.
This edition of the exhibition was themed “Digital Applications for Comprehensive Security, Connecting All Scenarios.” Companies such as Chuanrun Co., Ltd., Suishi Technology, and Tyco Security presented innovative products, including high-end wind and solar energy equipment, infrared thermal imaging systems, and advanced safety platforms for fire control and automation. Yunhe Technology unveiled a VR-based fire‑training system that leverages real-time data to help commanders and firefighters respond swiftly to emergencies, while Zhongruike Technology showcased products compliant with 5G standards and deeply integrated with AI applications.
The exhibition’s international profile was significantly enhanced, benefiting from the global network resources of Messe Frankfurt.
