Exhibition Introduction
The Exhibitor Value of the Shanghai International Low-Altitude Economy Expo
- The world’s first specialized expo covering the entire low-altitude economy industry chain. Co-hosted by the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), Donghao Lansheng Group, and the Shanghai International Exhibition Group, this expo is the only international professional event in China focused exclusively on the full low-altitude economy industry chain. The inaugural edition, spanning 60,000 square meters, gathered nearly 300 leading global enterprises and welcomed over 55,200 visitors, earning acclaim as a key indicator of global low-altitude industry development. As a showcase for strategic emerging industries, the expo serves as a strategic gateway for companies to establish industry leadership, connect with global resources, and seize opportunities in the trillion-dollar blue ocean market.
- Full-chain integration of the “three chains,” with comprehensive coverage across five major sectors. Exhibits fully encompass low-altitude infrastructure (general airports, air traffic control systems), low-altitude manufacturing (aircraft R&D and production, advanced materials, core components), low-altitude transportation (eVTOLs, helicopters, logistics drones), low-altitude urban-rural management (emergency rescue, police patrols, ecological conservation), and low-altitude commercial applications (agricultural and forestry pest control, surveying and mapping, cultural and tourism consumption)—five core sectors. From hardware manufacturing to software services, from technological R&D to real-world applications, the expo presents a complete picture of the deep integration among the low-altitude economy’s industry, application, and ecological chains.
- Gathering top global enterprises to build a high ground for industrial innovation. The expo brings together Shanghai’s “Four Little Dragons” of eVTOLs (WoFei Changkong, Volant Aviation, Peakfly Aviation, Shidai Technology), alongside leading drone manufacturers such as United Aircraft, Tengdun Sci-Tech, DJI, and Puzhou Technology. State-owned enterprises like Sinopec, China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom showcase new materials and IT solutions, while energy innovators such as Zongshen Aeroengine and Hydrogen Aviation compete on the same stage. International giants—including UK’s Vertical Aerospace, Brazil’s Eve Air Mobility, and Italy’s Leonardo Aerospace—also participate, creating a high-end platform for cross-border technology exchange and industrial collaboration.
- A premier venue for global product launches and debuts, driving technological innovation. During the expo, more than 19 products made their global debut, and 25 others were unveiled for the first time in China, including the world’s first seven-seat, three-ton-class multipurpose eVTOL, the first mass-produced large-scale hydrogen-powered drone, flying car platforms, large fixed-wing unmanned aircraft, aviation range extenders, electric propulsion systems, and other groundbreaking innovations. Weixin Aerospace’s three-ton medical rescue eVTOL, WoFei Changkong and Fuwei Group’s jointly developed AE200 “Smart Agile Cabin,” Tianling Ke’s L600 hybrid-range-extending tiltrotor eVTOL, and other cutting-edge products were prominently displayed, providing exhibitors with an authoritative stage to demonstrate their innovative strength and secure technological supremacy.
- Over 30 high-profile forums offering authoritative insights, fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. Concurrent with the expo, events such as the International Forum on Future Air Mobility, the Low-Altitude Economy Infrastructure Development Conference, and the Shanghai Low-Altitude Economy Industry Innovation Conference collectively hosted more than 30 high-caliber activities. The China Civil Airport Association released the “Research Report on the Framework of the Low-Altitude Economy Infrastructure System,” while the Royal Aeronautical Society of the UK convened international experts to discuss industry development opportunities. Financial, legal, and talent-focused forums addressed critical pain points in industry-finance linkages, providing exhibitors with a high-end think tank to navigate policy trends, access global resources, and gain insights into industry dynamics.
- Precise alignment with global buyer networks, establishing an efficient trade-matching platform. On the very first day of the expo, Volant Aviation secured a US$175 million eVTOL procurement deal with Thailand’s Pan-Pacific Group, setting a new record for the largest single international order of domestically produced passenger eVTOLs. YuFeng Future signed strategic cooperation agreements with both Shanghai and Guangdong low-altitude economy industry companies, while Shidai Technology deepened industrial collaboration with the Shanghai Low-Altitude Economy Industry Development Company. With overseas visitors hailing from 25 countries and regions, the expo facilitated precise connections between Chinese low-altitude enterprises and global market resources through diverse dialogue platforms, further enhancing their visibility and collaborative opportunities within domestic and international supply chains.
- Multi-faceted integration of “industry + application + consumption,” creating an immersive value ecosystem. Concurrent with the expo, events such as the National Aerospace Model Championship and the Drone Soccer National Team Selection, the Hongqiao Tiandi Low-Altitude Theme Market, and drone formation performances were held. The Top 100 Application Flight Demonstration showcased eVTOLs and drones in various scenarios—logistics, rescue, agriculture, energy, and more. From B2B technology demonstrations to C2C consumer experiences, from professional competitions to science education, the expo provided exhibitors with a comprehensive platform for deep engagement with professional audiences, purchasing decision-makers, and end consumers.
