Co-organized by Koelnmesse of Germany and the Dubai World Trade Centre, it boasts exceptional exhibition organization and strong market appeal. ### Exhibition Value of the Dubai International Confectionery and Snack Food Show #### A Strategic Hub, Connecting Three Continents With an exhibition space of 16,000 square meters accommodating 533 exhibitors, this show ranks among the largest of its kind in the Middle East. Although the UAE itself produces little sugar, Dubai’s strategic location and favorable trade policies have made it a central hub for demand from East Asia, Africa, and Europe. The participation of 133 international exhibitors underscores the event’s appeal beyond the local market, highlighting Dubai’s role as a key transit point. For companies seeking to enter the Middle Eastern and North African markets, this exhibition offers a relatively low‑threshold entry point. #### Global Buyers, Concentrated Resources With 28,507 professional visitors, the attendance figure is substantial for a food‑related trade show. The Dubai World Trade Centre, one of the region’s oldest and most established venues, boasts well‑developed infrastructure and a diverse buyer base. Exhibitors need not spend time searching for agents worldwide; the show brings together buyers from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia directly at the venue. Data indicates that a significant proportion of attendees came from outside the UAE, confirming the exhibition’s broad regional reach beyond Dubai. #### Comprehensive Product Coverage, From Raw Materials to Finished Goods The show encompasses the entire confectionery and snack‑food value chain, ranging from chocolate and cocoa products to nuts, potato chips, packaging machinery, and ingredient additives. The exhibition layout features a mix of international pavilions and local exhibitors, ensuring a rich and diverse product offering. #### Professional Networking, Clearly Defined Buyer Profiles The event attracts a highly targeted audience of distributors, importers, and large‑scale retail buyers. Exhibitors can focus their efforts on engaging with buyers who have genuine purchasing needs, rather than catering to general consumers. Prior to the show, the organizers conduct detailed buyer‑seller matching, aligning exhibitor offerings with specific procurement requirements, enabling efficient on‑site business negotiations. #### Market Penetration, Extending from Dubai to the Entire Middle East Backed by the robust markets of the Middle East and Africa, the Dubai Confectionery Show serves a region with consistently high demand for sweets, yet limited domestic production capacity, resulting in heavy reliance on imports. Visitors include not only buyers from the UAE but also those from Gulf Cooperation Council countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar, as well as importers across East and North Africa. For Chinese enterprises, Dubai represents both a strategic transit hub and a valuable training ground—providing a stable foothold before expanding into neighboring markets. With over a decade of experience, the show has established mature distribution channels, making it one of the most reliable pathways for entering this dynamic region.
