The 22nd Qingdao International Metalworking Machinery Exhibition was successfully held from March 6 to 9, 2025, at the Qingdao Hongdao International Convention & Exhibition Center. As the first major manufacturing event of the year in Northern China, the four-day exhibition attracted a total of 29,455 professional visitors from home and abroad, along with 37 specialized buyer delegations. On-site transactions exceeded RMB 250 million, while the total value of intended collaborations reached RMB 470 million.
With an exhibition space spanning 50,000 square meters, the show focused on the entire metalworking value chain, including metal cutting, CNC machine tools, industrial automation and robotics, the aluminum industry, and metal materials. The event brought together 322 renowned domestic and international companies, such as Mazak, Tsurumi, Takizawa (Japan), Youjia, Ruite, Jiesheng, Genesis, Jinhuo, Hanchi, Shanghai Machine Tool Factory, Julihuang, Chenlong, NSK, JAKA, Canopus, and others, showcasing more than 1,000 sets of intelligent equipment.
Concurrently, the Automotive Lightweighting and Advanced Processing Technologies for Aluminum Castings and Aluminum Wheels Symposium was held, co-organized by the Shandong Aluminum Industry Association and the Aluminum Wheel Quality Association. Twelve experts from institutions including the Shandong Academy of Sciences, Weiqiao Automotive Technology Group, Huajian Aluminum, Muy野 Automotive Equipment, and Hikvision Robotics delivered keynote speeches on topics such as aluminum alloy material development and the machining of lightweight automotive components.
