The Kazakhstan Building Materials Exhibition (KazBuild), is the most influential trade show for building materials and interior decoration in Central Asia. It is organized by ITE Group, the world’s second-largest exhibition company. The event is accredited by the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and enjoys strong official support from Kazakhstan, including the Construction Committee of Kazakhstan and the Almaty City Administration.

At the last edition of the Kazakhstan Building Materials Exhibition (KazBuild), the total exhibition area reached 16,000 square meters, with 322 participating companies hailing from China, Japan, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Russia, Poland, Dubai, Turkey, India, the United Kingdom, and other countries. The number of visitors totaled 14,900.

Currently, Kazakhstan’s building materials market remains in its early stages of development, dominated by mid- to low-end products, most of which are imported. Retail prices for building materials—such as sanitary ware and floor tiles—are on average two to four times higher than those of comparable Chinese products. Given the superior quality and competitive pricing of Chinese building materials, they are well-suited to meet local market needs, making them the preferred choice in Kazakhstan. At the same time, Kazakhstan actively encourages and welcomes investment by reputable Chinese enterprises seeking to establish manufacturing facilities within the country.
