LAAD Defence & Security is one of the most renowned and influential military, police, and defense exhibitions globally.Established in 1997, the event attracts a large number of military delegations and visitors from around the world and Brazil, showcasing products from the defense, security, and international business services sectors.
The previous edition of LAAD Defence & Security covered a total exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, featuring 642 exhibitors from China, Colombia, Spain, Chile, the United States, Dubai, Turkey, South Africa, Mexico, Canada, and other regions, with 37,600 attendees.
Concurrent conferences during the event include seminars on military logistics, video data analysis, LAAD Defense, LAAD Security, big data integration, and negotiation strategies for counter-terrorism operations. These sessions enable each exhibitor to attract potential clients by highlighting their unique design and R&D capabilities.
At the exhibition, military products from Chinese exhibitors have been highly favored by Latin American countries. A colonel from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense noted that Chinese defense equipment has gained significant industry recognition and a solid foothold in Brazil. LAAD Defence & Security tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
