This premier industry event highlights innovations and trends across the spectrum of printed electronic products. An increasing number of end-user sectors—such as automotive, renewable energy, and healthcare—are adopting these technologies as key enablers to make their offerings more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

At LOPEC, experts from renowned research institutions representing 23 countries presented the current state of the industry, its significance for sustainable manufacturing, and its potential for future growth through approximately 180 technical presentations. Representatives from companies including Airbus, Altana, BMW, Covestro, Fraunhofer, Heraeus, and Panasonic shared their expertise in various conference formats. “The LOPEC conference once again underscores the critical importance of international knowledge sharing within the sector and its distinctive character, thereby driving further advancements in the printed electronics market,” explained Wolfgang Mildner, Chairman of LOPEC.

The top five exhibiting countries were Germany, the United States, France, Sweden, and Spain. At LOPEC, cutting-edge applications such as ultra-thin sensors or microfluidic chips are opening up new possibilities in medical technology, demonstrating that printed electronics are now fully poised for deployment in the healthcare sector.
