Mediatech AfricaProfile
Mediatech Africa is the largest trade show on the African continent dedicated to professional audio-visual, broadcasting, media, and live event technology. The exhibition brings together industry professionals, technology providers, creatives, and decision-makers for live demonstrations, networking, and innovation. It provides a platform for global brands and regional participants to connect, collaborate, and explore the future of the industry.
Claire Robinson, Sales and Marketing Director of Mediatech Africa, commented on the overwhelming response: "Since announcing the return of Mediatech Africa, we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support from the entire industry. From exhibitors confirming early interest to visitors from every corner of the continent, this excitement reminds us of how powerful and valuable the Mediatech brand is, and how much it has been missed since the global pandemic."
Mediatech Africa covers a total exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, featuring 232 exhibitors, including over 20 Chinese enterprises. The event attracts a strong presence of industry leaders, with international brands such as Barco, Robe, Clay Paky, Bosch, Sony, and YAMAHA, alongside South African local agents like Viva Africa, Soin Africa, and TV Audio. Chinese brands including Lane, Rfun, Wanchang, Enping Marteen, Shenzhen Lianchengfa, Lightlink, Gloshine, Junchuang, and Vilsound also shine brightly at the show.
As a member of the BRICS nations, South Africa is widely regarded as the "engine of Africa's economy" and holds an unshakable economic position globally. Mediatech Africa attracts a large number of top-tier international professional lighting and audio brands. In addition to renowned local South African enterprises, the exhibition draws exhibitors from numerous countries, including China and the Middle East.
Mediatech Africa tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents.
