Africa (Ghana) Power and Energy ExhibitionProfile
The Africa Ghana Power & Energy Exhibition (MWA) is one of the largest specialized exhibitions held in Ghana. Past editions have received strong support from the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the China–Ghana Friendship Association, the Ghana Ministry of Business Development, the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, and the Ghana–China Friendship Association.
Concurrent with the Africa Ghana Power & Energy Exhibition (MWA), numerous high‑quality forums and seminars are organized, bringing together industry associations and leading experts to discuss the future prospects of the power and energy market.
In recent years, Africa has emerged as a popular investment destination for photovoltaic power plants. Due to factors such as geographic latitude, the same PV array can generate roughly twice the electricity in Africa compared to Central Europe. As one of the fastest‑developing countries in the region, Ghana has attracted considerable attention.
Chinese enterprises are steadily increasing their share of Ghana’s power generation market. Their semiconductor lighting products are naturally well‑suited to the African market. Against the backdrop of shared development and the global push for energy efficiency and low carbon emissions, now is an excellent opportunity for semiconductor lighting companies to enter the African market. Furthermore, both governments and businesses should establish appropriate channels, financial mechanisms, and market‑support frameworks, fully leveraging government policies and integrating relevant resources through alliance platforms to help lighting firms take root in Africa as quickly as possible. By addressing the product‑positioning discrepancies between the two regions, the Africa Ghana Power & Energy Exhibition (MWA) represents the optimal moment for expanding into the African market.
Africa (Ghana) Power and Energy Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
