展会简介
The Exhibition Value of the Shanghai International New Energy Vehicle Show
- The Shanghai International New Energy Vehicle Technology and Ecosystem Expo (NEAS CHINA) is one of Asia’s largest and most specialized industry events in the new energy vehicle sector.Having been successfully held for fourteen consecutive editions, it has earned authoritative certification from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and is widely recognized within the industry as a core platform for connecting global supply-chain resources, showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements, and shaping industry development trends. The event is co-organized by prestigious institutions including the China Electrotechnical Society, the Shanghai Society of Automotive Engineers, and Informa Markets, under the theme “Embracing New Development, Smartly Connecting the Future,” with the aim of providing a one-stop platform for technological exchange and commercial collaboration across the global new energy vehicle industry.
- The core value of participation lies in its comprehensive, end-to-end industry coverage and its strategic advantage in precisely linking exhibitors with international buyer networks. The exhibition spans the entire value chain, encompassing intelligent connected new energy vehicles, power batteries, electric drive systems, thermal management systems, smart chassis, charging and battery-swapping technologies, lightweight materials, smart factories, and digitalization solutions. For the 2026 edition, the show is expected to cover 70,000 square meters, host more than 1,200 exhibiting brands, and attract over 80,000 professional visitors, including international attendees from more than 30 countries and regions such as the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Russia. These professionals include OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, power battery manufacturers, electric drive system producers, and research institutions, offering participating companies a strategic gateway to engage directly with key global purchasing decision-makers.
- The exhibition has established an international platform that connects to global markets, bringing together leading brands and innovative forces.Industry giants such as NIO, Tesla, Great Wall Motors, Huayu Automotive, Shanghai Electric Drive, Ruipu Lanjun, Baolong Technology, CRRC Times Electric Drive, Tianhai, and Jinbei Electric have participated year after year. The event also actively invites robust buyer delegations from Belt and Road countries including Turkey, Iran, Vietnam, and Thailand, while hosting over 30 exclusive overseas matchmaking sessions, providing enterprises with efficient pathways to expand into international markets. In 2025, overseas visitors numbered 5,826, spanning 36 countries and regions, marking a record high for international professional attendance.
- Keeping pace with three major industry trends—innovation in power batteries, advancement in smart chassis, and upgrades in electric drive systems—the exhibition has created a hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application.Concurrent with the main show, the event hosts more than 20 high-level forums, including the Shanghai New Energy Vehicle Technology and Supply Chain Conference, the Forum on Power Battery and Ultra-Charging Technology Innovation, the Forum on Advanced Electric Drive System Innovation, and the Forum on Smart Chassis Innovation, gathering over 200 industry leaders and technical experts to delve into前沿 topics such as solid-state batteries, 800V high-voltage platforms, wire-controlled chassis, and silicon carbide devices. For the 2026 edition, the exhibition will debut thematic sections dedicated to flying cars and embodied intelligent robots, focusing on cross-disciplinary areas at the intersection of new energy, aerial mobility, autonomous driving, and avionics systems.
- The exhibition innovatively introduces a precision business-matching service—“OEM–Tier 1” and “Tier 1–Tier 1”—to facilitate genuine orders and collaborations.Leveraging an extensive buyer database, the organizers provide end-to-end support, including pre-show demand matching, one-on-one negotiations during the event, and post-event follow-up to close deals, resulting in over 50 VIP buyer–exhibitor matchmaking sessions on-site. At the 2025 edition, well-known buyers such as NIO, Tesla, and Huayu Automotive attended with clearly defined procurement needs, sparking lively exchanges. Exhibitor satisfaction reached 95% in 2025, with 90% confirming their intention to renew, while Tesla praised the “exceptionally high caliber of attendees” and Huayu Automotive noted that “the outcomes exceeded expectations.”
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway to expanding into global markets, connecting with international resources, and showcasing their innovative capabilities.Built upon Shanghai’s advantageous position as a regional hub for the Yangtze River Delta’s new energy vehicle industry, the event radiates outward to cover the national market and Belt and Road economies. Participating companies can leverage this platform to access core global purchasing networks, seizing early opportunities in the intelligent, green, and global transformation of the new energy vehicle sector.
