Middle East Dubai Paper Industry ExhibitionProfile

The Middle East Dubai Paper Industry Exhibition (Paper Arabia), is the largest and most specialized trade show in the Middle East dedicated to paper and hygiene products. It is co-organized by Arab Information Services and the Indian Association of Printers, Packaging and Related Machinery Manufacturers. Each edition grows at a rate of 15% to 20%, while attendance increases by approximately 25% annually.

Against the backdrop of a surge in investment within the Middle East’s paper industry, the Middle East Dubai Paper Industry Exhibition (Paper Arabia)is held to meet the exponentially growing consumer demand for paper products. The event attracts hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe and draws nearly ten thousand professional visitors from countries including Iran, Turkey, Ethiopia, Oman, the Arab States, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Europe, and India.

Given that local production capacity falls far short of meeting rising consumer demand, approximately 62% of the Middle East’s paper needs are currently met through imports. Moreover, as living standards rise and consumer preferences evolve across the Middle East and North Africa, demand for mid‑to‑high‑end toilet paper, hand towels, wet wipes, diapers, and sanitary napkins continues to increase. The region has become one of China’s key export destinations for household paper and hygiene products, with the growth of the Middle Eastern paper market heavily reliant on Chinese paper products and technological solutions.

The Middle East’s paper industry is among the fastest‑growing markets worldwide! The Middle East Dubai Paper Industry Exhibition (Paper Arabia)provides an ideal platform for forging new partnerships and deepening existing relationships within the market.

Middle East Dubai Paper Industry Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. Exhibition Review

The 13th Paper Arabia Exhibition in Dubai was successfully held from September 2 to 4, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. As the flagship event for the paper, packaging, tissue, and nonwoven industries in West Asia, this three-day show attracted more than 200 international exhibitors and brands from over 14 countries, drawing approximately 15,000 professional visitors from 88 countries and regions who came to explore and procure.

The exhibition featured a broad range of products spanning multiple application sectors, including food and beverage packaging, personal care, cosmetics, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. For the first time, it also welcomed nonwoven fabric exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge applications in medical, hygiene, and automotive fields—reflecting the industry’s growing trend toward diversified, sustainable solutions and innovative materials. On-site demonstrations of advanced machinery highlighted energy-efficient production processes, recycling technologies, and alternatives to single-use plastics, aligning closely with regional governments’ green economy initiatives.

A two-day Middle East Paper and Tissue Forum, held concurrently on September 2–3, emerged as one of the exhibition’s key highlights. Renowned experts delivered presentations on critical topics such as waste management, recycling strategies, and greenhouse gas reduction, reinforcing the industry’s commitment to achieving regional net-zero emissions goals. Throughout the event, leading companies unveiled their latest innovations aimed at reducing carbon footprints and advancing circular economy practices. Exhibitor Sandeep Raina praised the show, stating that Paper Arabia, with its robust program and increased visitor traffic, represents “a highly promising platform” for exhibitors.

This edition not only reinforced Dubai’s position as a global business hub but also supported the emirate’s economic agenda to become one of the world’s foremost economic centers. As a specialized platform covering the entire paper industry value chain in the Middle East, Paper Arabia 2025 once again underscored its pivotal role in driving innovation and sustainable development within the sector.
