展会简介
The Taizhou Plastics Exhibition—China Plastics Fair (PEC)—has, since its inaugural edition in 2001, become a key platform for showcasing the plastics industry. The event has attracted numerous international exhibitors to China’s plastics market, establishing itself as an essential forum for the sector. At the last edition, the exhibition spanned 35,000 square meters, hosted 600 participating companies, and drew 30,000 attendees. Concurrently, the fair also featured the Taizhou International M
The exhibition value of the Taizhou Plastics Exhibition—ChinaPEC—is as follows:
- The only national-level trade fair in China’s plastics industry receiving key support from the Ministry of Commerce.Since its inception in 2001, the fair has been consecutively designated by the Ministry of Commerce as the sole priority-supported event in the plastics sector since 2005. It is also accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), making it the only specialized trade show at the prefecture‑level city level in China to receive this distinction. Over more than two decades of development, ChinaPEC has become a comprehensive showcase of China’s plastics industry, serving as a multifaceted platform for highlighting the sector and attracting international buyers, while remaining an essential event for numerous domestic and international plastics companies and related professionals.
- Leveraging the complete industrial chain advantages of the “Kingdom of Plastic Products.”Hosted in Taizhou, renowned as the “Kingdom of Plastic Products” and the “Home of Molds,” the fair benefits from a robust ecosystem comprising over 12,000 plastic manufacturing enterprises and more than 2,000 mold-making firms. Annual raw material consumption exceeds 6 million tons, accounting for over one‑tenth of the national total, while output of everyday plastic goods represents 60%–70% of the Chinese market. Grounded in this strong industrial base, ChinaPEC has established an integrated, four‑part industrial chain display covering plastics raw materials, finished products, machinery, and molds—spanning injection molding machines, extruders, and other processing equipment; modified plastics and functional masterbatches; as well as everyday plastic items, automotive and motorcycle components, molds, and CNC machine tools—providing a holistic view of the plastics industry ecosystem.
- Bringing together global buyer networks to efficiently expand into international markets. Each year, the fair attracts overseas buyers from over 40 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, France, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, and others. Member nations of the Asian Plastics Forum, along with plastic associations from Europe, North America, South Africa, and nearly 20 additional countries, have organized group delegations to participate, offering domestic enterprises a convenient platform to connect directly with global buyers. Through targeted invitations to international purchasers, the fair helps Chinese plastics companies seize opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative and extend their reach worldwide.
- Focusing on smart manufacturing and green transformation to lead industry innovation trends.Under the theme “Gathering Plastics Toward Innovation, Leading the Future with Quality,” the fair highlights cutting-edge advancements in smart manufacturing, new material applications, and environmental sustainability. From high-speed direct-drive electrofusion PET‑specific machines to three‑axis coordinated injection molding presses, from customized polymer modifications to circular recycling of reclaimed plastics, the exhibition consistently remains at the forefront of industry technology. Concurrent events such as the Asian Plastics Forum, the Smart Factory Summit, and the Industry Summit provide exhibitors with authoritative think‑tank platforms to gain insights into industry trends and policy directions.
