Since its inaugural edition in 2001, the Zhejiang Taizhou Plastics Fair (PEC) has become a key platform for comprehensively showcasing the plastics industry. It serves as an origin‑based marketplace that attracts international buyers and provides an essential forum for gaining insights into China’s plastics sector. Concurrent with the fair, the Taizhou International Machine Tool & Tool Exhibition and the Taizhou International Robotics & Smart Factory Exhibition are also held.

The Zhejiang Taizhou Plastics Fair (PEC)last year spanned a total area of 35,000 square meters, hosted 600 exhibiting companies, and drew approximately 30,000 visitors. During the event, the PEC Organizing Committee actively engaged with each exhibitor, distributed invitations to the next edition of the China Plastics Fair, and conducted in-depth discussions with participating enterprises.

Beginning in 2005, the PEC has been the only plastics‑industry trade show consecutively recognized by the Ministry of Commerce as a guided and supported exhibition for 12 years running, a distinction earned by very few events in Zhejiang Province. Anchored in the Taizhou industrial base, the fair extends its reach across Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Shandong, while radiating throughout China’s plastics value chain. Zhejiang (Taizhou) Plastics Trade Fair tickets are e-tickets. From October 21 to 23, 2025, the 22nd Zhejiang Taizhou Plastics Trade Fair was successfully held at the Taizhou International Expo Center. With the theme “Gathering Plastics for Innovation, Leading the Future with Quality,” the event spanned 30,000 square meters, bringing together over 300 renowned enterprises from across China’s plastics industry chain—both upstream and downstream. The exhibition comprehensively covered four major segments: plastic machinery, molds, raw materials, and finished products, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in intelligent manufacturing, new material applications, and green environmental protection.

At the fair, intelligent manufacturing emerged as the standout highlight. Guangdong Sibituo Plastic Machinery unveiled its high-speed direct-drive electro‑fusion PET‑specific machine, which boasts precise weight‑control accuracy, a low defect rate, and an integrated MES system. Within less than two hours of opening, the company had already secured firm expressions of interest from multiple clients.

The materials innovation sector also delivered a wealth of compelling offerings. Zhejiang Lisheng New Materials, a national-level high-tech enterprise, demonstrated its expertise in polymer material modification and customized solutions, capable of developing products tailored to specific customer requirements—such as enhanced strength, improved toughness, cold resistance, or UV‑protection—across materials including nylon, PP, PET, and PPS.

Overseas procurement initiatives yielded significant results. The Sri Lanka Mold Manufacturers Association returned after six years to participate as a group, bringing with it a procurement list valued at RMB 20 million and engaging in in-depth matchmaking discussions with Chinese plastics companies, thereby creating important opportunities for Chinese firms to expand into international markets.

Leveraging Taizhou’s robust industrial foundation—home to more than 12,000 plastics manufacturers and annual raw material consumption exceeding 6 million tons—the fair utilized a big‑data platform to facilitate pre‑exhibition “pre‑matching” and “pre‑connection,” significantly enhancing negotiation efficiency.

Spanning three days, this year’s fair is dedicated to establishing a pivotal platform for collaborative innovation within the industry and fostering seamless connections across the entire value chain.
