Shanghai International RV Show & Modification ExpoProfile
Shanghai International RV Show & Customization Expo (RV SHOW) will leverage Shanghai’s status as an international metropolis to attract a broader international audience and exhibitors, helping brand-name participants explore global business matchmaking and collaboration opportunities, thereby enhancing the international profile of China’s RV and camping industry.
Since the first domestically developed RV rolled off the production line in 2001, China’s RV industry has grown steadily over more than two decades. Today, China ranks as Asia’s largest RV market and the world’s third-largest producer, behind only the United States and Germany. Meanwhile, by 2025, RV component exports are projected to reach US$7.8–8.2 billion, capturing 28%–30% of the global market share. Total overseas shipments of complete RVs and components are expected to approach 100,000 units, with domestic-to-export sales ratios nearing 1:5. China has emerged as a “hidden champion” in both the manufacturing and export of RV components worldwide.
As a flagship event under the RVSHOW umbrella, the Shanghai International RV Show is renowned for its relentless innovation. Adapting to evolving market dynamics, it has successively launched initiatives such as the “Class A RV Show” and the “RV+” strategy, earning recognition as a leading indicator of China’s RV and camping sector development. The Shanghai International RV Show & Customization Expo (RV SHOW) stands as the premier platform for RV manufacturers and accessory suppliers seeking to expand their markets.
Centered around the “RV+” strategy, the exhibition concurrently hosts an automotive (RV) customization competition and a mid-year RV accessories supply-chain conference, integrating resources across the RV, accessory, and outdoor-camping sectors to create a specialized platform for showcasing and networking. Additionally, adjacent to the exhibition halls, the Shanghai Auto City RV Camping Park will feature a dedicated “Car Enthusiasts’ Creative Modification Showcase Area” and evening “RV Night Talks,” offering attendees a venue to display their creations and engage in social exchanges.
Shanghai International RV Show & Modification Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.

It also brings together resources spanning the entire industry chain, including RV components, camping gear, outdoor equipment, and renewable energy power systems, creating an integrated “vehicle–equipment–scenario” display ecosystem.
- A Vanguard for New-Energy RVsWith the rapid rise in the penetration of new-energy recreational vehicles, the show highlights cutting-edge models built on mainstream technology platforms such as SAIC Maxus PHEV, BYD T5DM range-extended, Changan Hunter range-extended, and Geely Remote hybrid systems, positioning itself as a key indicator of industry transformation.

- Deep Integration with Industry Support ServicesIn strategic partnership with the Shanghai International Auto Parts Permanent Exhibition Hall, the show has established a dedicated “RV Components and Accessories Zone,” leveraging a year-round trade platform to provide enterprises with a stable, global showcase. This section gathers supply-chain players specializing in chassis, lithium batteries, inverters, interior fittings, and more, efficiently matching domestic and international procurement needs.
- High-End Forums Empowering Trend InsightsConcurrent with the exhibition, expert forums such as the RV and Camping Influencer Sharing Session, the Supply Chain Ecosystem Conference, and the Overseas Expansion Forum are held, offering in-depth discussions on hot topics including new-energy technology applications, supply-chain collaboration, and overseas market expansion.
- Cross-Sector Collaborative IPs under the “RV+” BrandThe show synergizes with international events like the Shanghai Auto Culture Festival and the F1 Chinese Grand Prix, tapping into a shared audience of nearly 300,000 global motorsport enthusiasts. Together, they create an integrated platform that blends RVs, trendy cars, racing, and culture, providing exhibiting brands with opportunities for cross‑segment exposure.
- A Hub for International Resource NetworkingLeveraging Shanghai’s status as an international gateway, the show continues to draw buyers from major RV markets in Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and beyond. Exhibition Review
The 24th Shanghai International RV Exhibition was successfully held from November 20 to 22, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As one of the featured thematic exhibitions within the framework of the 6th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo, this edition brought together over 300 brand exhibitors, showcasing more than 500 distinctive RVs and cutting-edge models. On-site sales totaled RMB 139 million, with preliminary orders amounting to RMB 325 million, attracting over 50,000 professional visitors and enthusiasts.
New-energy RVs emerged as the highlight of this year’s event, with vehicles based on mainstream technological platforms—including SAIC Maxus’ PHEV‑dedicated chassis, BYD T5DM range‑extended chassis, Changan Hunter range‑extended pickup chassis, and Geely Remote hybrid chassis—making their collective debut. These offerings underscore China’s diversified exploration in both powertrain configurations and application scenarios for new-energy RVs. In the first half of 2025, the penetration rate of new-energy recreational vehicles surged rapidly to 24.18%.
The camping‑car market experienced explosive growth, with brands such as Miami, China National Heavy Duty Truck, Lao Pai, and Watsonwell introducing numerous cost‑effective models. In the first half of 2025, camping‑car sales reached 3,236 units, a year-on-year increase of 151.4%, and their share of total RV sales jumped to 35.3%, firmly establishing themselves as a key driver of market expansion. Pickup‑based RVs also demonstrated strong momentum, with brands like Kuangda, Changan, and Lanzhong drawing large numbers of outdoor enthusiasts thanks to their excellent off‑road capability and flexible interior layouts. In the heavy‑duty RV segment, Nomadison unveiled 11 heavy‑duty off‑road RVs, including its first ultra‑lightweight Unimog model.
At the opening ceremony, preparations for the 97th World RV & Camping Congress in 2026 were announced, and several cooperation agreements were signed on site, including a national chain of RV camping‑site projects, highlighting the robust momentum of industry‑chain synergy. The exhibition gathered over 300 brands, including SAIC Maxus, Longcui, Daidé, Weihang, and Ruifeng, creating a comprehensive ecosystem that covers every facet of mobile living. To boost transactions, the organizers continued the “On-Site Signing with Prize Draw” initiative. Leveraging the influence of the Yangtze River Delta Cultural Industries Expo, the event fostered deep integration among RVs, automotive trends, and cultural industries.
