The Shenzhen International Optical Industry Fair (SZIOF) is themed “Intelligent Optics Without Boundaries: AI Coexistence,” focusing on industry development trends and actively exploring the deep integration of artificial intelligence with the eyewear sector.

The SZIOF will bring together leading global companies in the eyewear industry, showcasing cutting-edge products and technologies. The fair will feature thematic seminars, inviting industry leaders to share insights into emerging trends and jointly discuss future directions such as smart glasses, sustainable materials, and personalized customization, thereby fostering close collaboration across the value chain and shaping the future of the global eyewear industry.

In recent years, the Shenzhen Municipal Government has introduced a series of specialized policies to support the high-quality development of the eyewear industry. The sector is accelerating its transformation toward intelligence, digitalization, and brand-building, with prominent enterprises such as Yashi, Lehuo, and Boshi emerging as key players. Leveraging its strengths as a “City of Design” and a “Digital Intelligence Hub,” Shenzhen is driving the seamless integration of traditional eyewear manufacturing with AI, AR/VR, and other advanced technologies, thus establishing a comprehensive industrial ecosystem encompassing design, R&D, production, and sales.

Centered in Shenzhen, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area boasts unique advantages across the global eyewear and smart wearable industries. In particular, Henggang Subdistrict in Longgang District, Shenzhen, concentrates over 50% of the world’s high-end spectacle frame production capacity and hosts 90% of China’s top-tier eyewear designers, making it a premier global hub for high-end eyewear manufacturing.

Shenzhen International Eyewear Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
