The Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX) was successfully held from May 20 to 23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. This year’s event, themed “AI Next” and organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, is a premier annual gathering for the global technology industry.

In terms of scale, the show brought together 1,400 exhibiting companies from 34 countries and regions worldwide, occupying 4,800 booths across an exhibition space of 80,000 square meters. It attracted 86,521 international buyers from 152 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States, South Korea, Vietnam, India, and others—marking a new record in its history.Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te attended the opening ceremony and toured the exhibition, engaging in discussions with corporate leaders such as ASUS Chairman Shih Chung-tang, MediaTek Chairman Tsai Ming-kai, Foxconn Chairman Liu Yang-wei, and Pegatron Chairman Tong Tzu-hsien.

This edition of COMPUTEX featured a wealth of highlights, with AI and robotics emerging as the central attractions. The show encompassed three major themes—“Intelligent Computing & Robotics,” “Next-Generation Technologies,” and “Future Mobility”—and introduced two new zones: the “AI Services Technology Zone” and the “Robotics and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Zone.” Pegatron showcased a bionic robotic dog capable of real-time interaction, suitable for search-and-rescue applications, boasting exceptional battery life, alongside a rack-mounted solution powered by NVIDIA’s GB300 NVL72. Foxconn, in collaboration with NVIDIA, unveiled an “AI Factory” supercomputing center, featuring the GB300 NVL72 system on display. BenQ created a multi‑interactive exhibit area, including an AI golf‑simulation zone that integrates visual tracking, motion sensing, and intelligent analytics. Advantech and Solomon exhibited highly anticipated autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) paired with AIoT platforms. Meanwhile, the Taiwan Automotive Development Association (TADA) established a Smart Mobility Pavilion, partnering with 19 brands to present automotive solutions.

Complementary events further enriched the program, providing a high‑level platform for industry exchange. The forum, themed “AI in Action,” invited leading experts from NVIDIA, Google DeepMind, Texas Instruments, Advantech, Arm, Intel, Adobe, Infineon, Schneider Electric, and other tech giants to share cutting‑edge insights and practical case studies, drawing over 1,300 attendees. Now in its tenth year, the InnoVEX startup showcase expanded significantly, welcoming startups from 24 countries—a 12.5% year‑over‑year increase—and bringing together heavyweight representatives from Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and other industry leaders to discuss how AI is driving innovation and digital transformation.

The professional audience was exceptionally strong, with an unprecedented level of international participation. The show drew professional buyers from 152 countries and regions, with Japan, the United States, South Korea, Vietnam, and India accounting for the largest contingents. Exhibiting companies widely reported the high quality of the attending audience and their clear purchasing intent, resulting in highly effective on‑site business matchmaking. Several vendors presented generative AI computing solutions, including AI servers, AI PCs, and edge AI devices.

The outcomes of the show were met with enthusiastic response from the industry. Exhibitors emphasized that COMPUTEX serves not only as a premier platform for brand exposure and business networking but also as a critical hub for gaining insights into global technology trends and exploring pathways for AI‑driven and smart‑hardware transformation. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council noted that the 2025 edition successfully attracted world‑class buyers, unlocking substantial potential opportunities across the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the supply chain.

The Taipei International Computer Show 2026 (COMPUTEX 2026) will take place from June 2 to 5 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. Due to the strong performance of this year’s event, demand for exhibition space has surged, prompting an expansion into Hall 1 to create a dedicated AI‑focused lifestyle ecosystem. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has confirmed his attendance and will deliver a keynote address.
