展会简介
The Exhibition Value of the Guangzhou VR & AR Show
- The Guangzhou Asia VR & AR Exhibition (VR & AR) is one of the world’s largest and most specialized events in the VR & AR industry. Since its inception in 2017, it has been successfully held nine times and is widely recognized by the industry as a leading indicator of trends in Asia’s virtual reality sector and a central hub for the global application and commercialization of VR/AR technologies. Organized by Guangdong Hongwei International Exhibition Group, the show leverages Guangzhou’s strategic location as a forefront city of China’s reform and opening-up policy. Held annually at the Canton Fair Complex, it has become a strategic platform for connecting global VR/AR supply-chain resources, showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements, and guiding industry development trends.
- The core value of participation lies in its comprehensive, end-to-end industry coverage and its robust channel advantages for precisely connecting with professional buyers. The exhibition spans the entire VR/AR value chain, including hardware devices, system equipment, R&D, manufacturing components, software, entertainment applications, safety education, education, real estate and home furnishings, and application solutions—covering everything from foundational technologies to end-user applications and forming a complete industrial ecosystem. For 2026, the event is expected to feature an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, bringing together 450 exhibiting companies and attracting over 30,000 professional visitors. Among them, procurement professionals and industry experts will be able to discover innovative, commercially viable VR/AR technologies and products with strong implementation potential and practical industry applications. The professional audience encompasses diverse sectors, including IT, software development, hardware manufacturing, the internet, film and television production, entertainment, tourism, education, design, urban construction, theme parks, amusement venues, cinemas, modern commerce, real estate, security, advertising, healthcare, manufacturing, defense, and more, providing exhibitors with a strategic gateway to engage directly with key global purchasing decision-makers.
- The exhibition has established an international platform that connects to global markets, bringing together industry-leading brands and innovative forces. Leading companies such as JD.com, HTC, DPVR, Royole, 51VR, ModoTech, Black Crystal Technology, Foldable Space, Gude Games, Hong Kong JiaMa, Shadow Dynamics, Xiechuang Technology, Xuanjing Digital, Quanying Hui, Longcheng Electronics, Liudu Imaging, ChuanSong Technology, and Shanpu Animation have participated year after year, showcasing their latest VR/AR technologies and products, thereby advancing new visions for the economic growth of the VR and AR industries and fostering mutually beneficial development. Concurrent with the exhibition, events such as the “Yuanjing Roadshow | Joint New Product Launch” and the “VR/AR/MR/XR Terminal Devices and Content Ecosystem Forum with Dedicated Matchmaking Sessions” are held, offering exhibitors end-to-end support—from technology demonstrations to trend insights.
- The exhibition aligns with three major industry trends—technology application implementation, cross-sectoral innovation, and the establishment of industry standards—creating a high‑tech hub characterized by deep integration among industry, academia, research, and end-users. Breaking away from the traditional focus on purely entertainment‑oriented exhibits, the show has introduced novel participants, including multimedia applications, large‑space positioning systems, film and television production, holographic display systems, and AI‑powered trade shows, setting record highs in exhibit diversity, multi‑application implementations, and diversified exhibitor profiles. Exhibits range from VR amusement parks, VR experiences, VR tourism, and VR/AR driving simulations to safety‑education initiatives such as earthquake and fire escape training, alcohol‑impaired driving simulations, and traffic‑safety awareness campaigns, as well as educational applications like VR‑based research, VR teaching systems, K‑12 curricula, and VR super‑classrooms, marking a significant transition from pure entertainment toward multifaceted, practical applications.
- The exhibition also hosts the VRAR Gold Awards Ceremony, further boosting brand building and innovative development within the industry. During the 2021 edition, the VRAR Gold Awards Ceremony presented five major categories—the “VRAR Industry Leader Award,” the “Special Contribution Award,” the “Investment/Business Development Potential Award,” the “VRAR Content Award,” and the “VRAR Hardware Award”—recognizing outstanding enterprises and products in the VR/AR field, setting benchmarks for the industry, and driving high‑quality industrial growth.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway for expanding into global markets, connecting with international resources, and showcasing innovative capabilities. Having successfully convened in Guangzhou for nine consecutive editions, the show invites overseas buyers and purchasers from up to 36 countries per event, steadily increasing its level of internationalization. Exhibiting companies can leverage this platform to access core global procurement networks and seize early opportunities in VR/AR technology application implementation, cross‑sectoral innovation, and digital transformation.
