Shanghai World Packaging Industry Expo tickets are e-tickets. The 2025 Shanghai World Packaging Industry Expo (WEPACK) was successfully held from April 8 to 10 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, spanning an area of 120,000 square meters. The event brought together over 1,500 domestic and international exhibitors, showcasing more than 10,000 innovative exhibits and hosting over 200 new-product launch events. Over the three-day exhibition, a total of 138,614 professional visitors from both home and abroad attended, marking a 51.37% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Among them, overseas visitors numbered 18,806, up 189.19% year-on-year—both figures reaching record highs.
The expo featured seven concurrent specialized exhibitions, including the China International Corrugated Board Exhibition, Color Box Exhibition, Digital Printing Technology Exhibition, Paper Exhibition, New Label Technology Exhibition, Plant Fiber and Food Packaging Processing Technology Exhibition, and China Packaging Container Exhibition, comprehensively presenting the entire packaging industry value chain—from raw paper and processing equipment to finished packaging products. Specialized zones such as the “Packaging Lightweight Innovation Corridor” and the “Paper-Based Packaging Innovation Application Dream Factory” were also set up on-site, drawing significant attention throughout the event.
Business matchmaking yielded impressive results: the TAP Invited Buyer Program facilitated 898 targeted business meetings, including 318 cross-border connections, with numerous exhibitors securing preliminary cooperation agreements on-site. More than 100 domestic and international industry associations organized group visits, while over 30 high-level forums and events, such as Vietnam Investment Day, provided strategic guidance for companies expanding into Southeast Asian markets. The closing highlight, the “WEPACK GC O2O Outlet Sale,” sparked a purchasing frenzy with substantial discounts and vouchers. Thanks to its outstanding effectiveness, the expo received high praise from both exhibitors and buyers, and the next edition is scheduled to take place in April 2026 at the Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center.
