The Xi’an International Science and Technology Industry Expo and Hard Tech Industry Exhibition—Xi’an Science and Technology Expo (XATEC)—is a large-scale, highly recognized, comprehensive high-tech trade show in the western region, with significant influence along the Belt and Road Initiative. It plays an active role in showcasing cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements from home and abroad, disseminating pioneering ideas on innovation, and fostering international exchanges and cooperation in science and technology.

Since its inception in 2005, the Xi’an International Science and Technology Industry Expo and Hard Tech Industry Exhibition—Xi’an Science and Technology Expo (XATEC)—has been hosted annually by the Xi’an Municipal Government. The event aims to implement the national strategy of “innovation-driven development,” seize major opportunities presented by the global new technological revolution and industrial transformation, and capitalize on the development prospects of the Belt and Road Initiative. Xi’an Science and Technology Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
