PACIFICO YOKOHAMA
Yokohama Pacifico, formally known as the Yokohama International Peace Convention Hall, is located in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. The center is situated at the western end of the waterfront, and Pacifico Yokohama is one of the largest convention complexes in the world, equipped with all the functions necessary for any type of meeting, such as conferences, incentive meetings, exhibitions, and events.
Construction of Yokohama Pacifico and the Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel was officially completed on October 12, 1991, after starting on July 29, 1991. On April 25, 1994, the National Convention Center Yokohama was officially inaugurated. In 2001, it was designated as the main press center, and in 2002, the FIFA World Cup exhibition hall was expanded. Yokohama Pacifico has also been used as a music venue, with its beautiful appearance designed to evoke images of ocean waves, wind, and sunshine, becoming a new symbol of the historic and international metropolis of Yokohama.
