The Daegu Convention Center, also known as the Administrative Meeting Center, is a convention and exhibition center of international standard. It boasts an area of 27,000 square meters (of which 4,000 square meters are outdoors). Since its establishment in 2001, it has been dedicated to developing unique events to effectively promote trade and commerce in Daegu. The company's goal is to expand the exhibition industry as a key business model for a positive outlook on the global market. Thanks to the company's focused efforts, Daegu has been able to establish itself as the only provincial city to host an UFI-approved international event. Jin Geohyuk, the company's President and CEO, believes that enriching the customer experience is the only and most effective solution for expanding trade and business. Projects such as DIOPS, PID, Fire and Safety Expo, and the Korean International Exhibition, which are internationally renowned, are managed by the Administrative Meeting Center. The company also collaborates with national and local governments to promote regional economic development and the exhibition industry.
