Lenexpo Fairgrounds

Located in the heart of St. Petersburg, the Lenexpo Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg covers a total exhibition area of 103,000 square meters. In 2013, a convention center capable of hosting any scale of forum, conference, and exhibition will be built in St. Petersburg. It will be one of the largest convention centers in St. Petersburg. It is expected that Chinese representatives will stand out particularly in these activities.The basic idea of the construction plan is to concentrate all necessary infrastructure for large-scale international exhibitions and conferences in one space. The entire complex is expected to include not only outdoor and enclosed exhibition areas that can accommodate over 7,000 people, a conference center with a main hall that can accommodate 3,000 people, and a grand event hall that can accommodate 2,000 people, but also two hotels, a shopping center, and accompanying infrastructure such as warehouses, customs exits, cafes, restaurants, parking lots, etc.
  The Lenexpo Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg is only a 10-minute drive from Pulkovo Airport, which is also undergoing active reconstruction and will become one of the main transportation hubs in Europe in the next few years. It takes only 30 minutes to get to the city center from the convention center. The convention center is located near the ring road, making it very convenient to get to any part of St. Petersburg from the convention center. Furthermore, plans are underway to extend the above-ground high-speed rail line from the city center to the airport to the convention center.
