Sydney Olympic Park (also known as Sydney Olympic Park) covers an area of 640 hectares with an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters. Adjacent to the Homebush Bay suburb in New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, it was the venue for the 2000 Sydney Olympics and is now used to host various sports and cultural events: such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Festival, and railway stations. Sydney Olympic Park is operated by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority, which originally planned to develop the site into a large urban renewal project for the Homebush Bay area.
