The Adelaide Convention Centre in Australia is a large-scale convention center located at North Terrace in Adelaide, South Australia. Designed with the needs of delegates and clients in mind, it offers flexible spaces that can seamlessly transition from one room to another, along with high-quality, efficient services and direct connectivity to the city of Adelaide. The center’s exhibition space spans 20,000 square meters and includes 32 meeting rooms, 9 halls, and a grand conference hall capable of accommodating up to 3,500 delegates. Designed by Larry Oltmanns, who was then a design partner at SOM, the project received several prestigious awards in 2002, including the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Award, the Steel Award, the Interior Architecture Award, and the New Building Award.
