The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) is the largest exhibition center in Scotland, located in Glasgow. It is one of the three main venues in the Scottish Events Campus. Covering 64 acres (260,000 square meters), the exhibition halls span 23,355 square meters, meeting rooms cover 4,431 square meters, and there are 1,600 parking spaces available. Since its original building was opened in 1985, the complex has undergone two major expansion projects. The first was the addition of the Armadillo conference center in 1997, followed by the Hydro in 2013. The holding company of the venue, SEC Ltd, owns 91% of the shares, with the remaining 9% held by private investors including the Glasgow City Council.

The main building was completed and opened in 1985, with the Scottish Royal National Orchestra performing in Hall 1. Later, as part of 1988, it hosted a grand international exhibition in Hall 4. In 1990, the SECC was one of the centers of the year for Glasgow, the European Capital of Culture, hosting concerts by Pavarotti, ballet and opera, and Bryan Adams.
