Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor

Located in the core area of the inner bay of Wuyuan Bay, Xiamen City, Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor boasts a 2-square-kilometer water area and 100,000 square meters of yacht industry supporting development land. Since 2006, it has been invested and constructed by Xiamen Road & Bridge Construction Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise under the jurisdiction of Xiamen City, and was put into use in 2007. It is operated and managed by Xiamen Road & Bridge Yacht Tourism Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the second-level group of Xiamen Road & Bridge. Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor has been developed into one of the largest and most mature yacht harbors in China.

In terms of yacht wharves and supporting facilities: The planned number of berths is 500, with 351 all-weather standard berths now built, accommodating over 220 yachts on a long-term basis. It is equipped with professional lifting berths, fueling berths, 50-ton ship gantry cranes, as well as the country's first water-based yacht bonded warehouse and the first land-based yacht bonded warehouse in South China.

Regarding the yacht industry supporting development land: The 'Xiamen International Yacht Center' project, located on the land of the yacht harbor, started construction in July 2015, with an estimated total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan. The total construction area is about 250,000 square meters, including creative offices, business standalone buildings, port commercial areas, and yacht docks. It is expected to be completed and put into use in 2019.

Due to its excellent natural conditions and good supporting facilities, Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor has been praised by sailors as a 'rare sailing base in the world'. Since 2007, it has successfully hosted numerous famous domestic water sports events and exhibitions, such as the China Club Cup Sailing Challenge, the Straits Cup Sailing Race, the Straits University Students Sailing Competition, and the China (Xiamen) International Yacht Exhibition.

Moreover, combining with the surrounding Wu Yuan Water Village Hotel, seawater bathing beach, business office and other supporting facilities, it has given birth to a yacht cluster with a certain scale centered on the yacht harbor, integrating water sports leisure activities, yacht driving training, exhibition events, tourism experience, resort hotels, and comprehensive yacht services, forming a relatively strong maritime leisure industrial atmosphere. It is also a good place for tourists from home and abroad and residents around Xiamen to travel and relax.
