Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Las Vegas Hotel

Mandalay Bay Casino Resort in Las Vegas is the fifth largest convention center in the United States (opened January 2003), with 1.7 million square feet of flexible meeting and exhibition space.

Mandalay Bay, a large hotel with a tropical resort theme (opened March 1999), is easily recognizable by its gold-leaf windows and massive wings located at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. The entire property is adorned with palm trees and water features. There is a 14-foot saltwater aquarium in the registration area filled with colorful fish and two leopard sharks, a feature associated with Shark Reef Aquarium (opened June 2000). Throughout the hotel, you will find fountains, sculptures, marble, and plants.

When holding meetings at Mandalay Bay, events can accommodate anywhere from 30 to 30,000 attendees. One advantage of the convention center is that it is clearly separate from the casino and hotel, allowing organizers to focus their time and energy on the agenda. The convention center spans three floors with 1.7 million square feet of flexible space. There are four enormous ballrooms ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 square feet (column-free).
