Tobacco Dock

The Tobacco Dock in London, Tower Hamlets, is a Grade I listed warehouse located in Waping. The warehouse is part of the London Docks in East London and was designed by the Scottish civil engineer and architect John Rennie. It was completed in 1812 and was primarily used as a store for imported tobacco, hence its name.

In 2012, the Tobacco Dock Limited launched the building as an event and conference venue capable of accommodating up to 10,000 people. It also features offices and collaborative spaces operated by Tobacco Dock Venue Limited, although the site and the building itself are owned by the Kuwaiti real estate group Al Mubarakia Limited.
