Melasti Beach in Bali, Indonesia, is a popular Instagram‑worthy beach located in the Uluwatu area of southern Bali. It is renowned for its crystal‑clear turquoise waters, pristine white sand, and towering limestone cliffs. The beach derives its name from the Melasti purification ritual, an important Balinese Hindu ceremony, and has emerged as one of Bali’s fastest‑rising vacation destinations in recent years.

Situated in the Ungasan region of southern Bali, at the southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula, it lies close to Uluwatu Temple and the Cliffside Viewpoint. From Kuta, the drive takes approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, with well‑maintained road conditions. Visitors can reach the site by rental car, motorcycle, or chartered vehicle; note that motorcycles may incur a separate fee for entry into the scenic area.
