展会简介
The Exhibition Value of the Ningbo Cross-Border E‑Commerce Fair
- The Ningbo Export Cross-Border E‑Commerce Exhibition is one of the largest and most influential high-end professional cross-border trade shows in East China, and the only domestic expo centered on the “home furnishings” category. It has been hailed by the industry as “East China’s premier cross-border event.” Initiated by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Ningbo Culture, Tourism & Convention Group, the fair has been successfully held four times since its inception in 2021, marking the transformation of cross-border e‑commerce from a “new form of foreign trade” to a “key driver of export growth.”
- The core value of participation lies in its robust supply-chain integration capabilities and access to premium source‑factory resources. In 2025, the exhibition will bring together 2,500 high-quality export-oriented factories, with factory booths accounting for nearly 80% of the total. These cover five key product categories—home furnishings, pet products and infant goods, electronics and lighting, hardware tools and automotive supplies, as well as daily necessities and gifts—forming a supply-chain matrix that is both comprehensive for large items and highly specialized for smaller ones. In addition to local Ningbo enterprises, leading industrial clusters from Suzhou, Linhai, Jiaxing, Anji, Ninghai, and other regions across China will participate in a consolidated manner, offering buyers a one-stop sourcing hub for direct procurement at the source. The fair also features a dedicated overseas-factory zone, where Malaysian furniture manufacturers will exhibit as a group, providing sellers with cross-border supply-chain resources that combine local design with source‑level production, thus upgrading the model from “one-way export” to “two-way connectivity.”
- The exhibition has established a diversified global procurement ecosystem, precisely connecting domestic and international core buyer networks. Building on years of experience, the fair has developed a comprehensive procurement pipeline encompassing “cross-border product selection, foreign-trade purchasing, joint overseas procurement, collaborative procurement by overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, platform‑direct sourcing, and online inquiries.” In 2025, the event will attract leading cross-border e‑commerce sellers such as Savvy, OATLY, Anker Innovations, Zhiou, and Zibuyu, alongside renowned foreign‑trade groups including Kaiyue Group, Zhongji Group, and Deli Group. The scale of international buyer delegations has expanded significantly, with procurement missions arriving from Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions; among them, a Vietnamese delegation of over one hundred members represents the largest international contingent. Additionally, buyers from more than 30 countries and regions—including the United States, Japan, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil—will be present on-site.
- The exhibition brings together mainstream global cross-border e‑commerce platforms and an end-to-end service ecosystem, providing businesses with one-stop empowerment for going overseas. In 2025, the fair will host 36 major cross-border e‑commerce platforms, covering markets across Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia. Established platforms such as Amazon Global Selling, eBay, Walmart, and Wayfair will offer on‑site consultations and matchmaking services; Dajian Cloud Warehouse, TikTok Shop, and Made-in-China.com will organize summits and forums; while emerging platforms like Chewy, HepsiGlobal, and Wildberries will make their debut, with Vente-unique making its first appearance in China. Concurrently, the fair will stage more than 30 specialized cross-border events, addressing industry trend insights, practical skill enhancement, and precise resource matching. It will also feature TikTok influencer marketing and the Ningbo Smart Manufacturing Product Selection Summit, inviting globally influential social-media personalities with millions of followers to engage directly with Chinese sellers, helping merchants connect with overseas social-media influencers and accelerate brand expansion abroad.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway for expanding into global markets, forging international connections, and transitioning from OEM/ODM manufacturing to building their own brands. Leveraging the strategic advantages of Ningbo Port, the fair has become a vital window for observing the evolution of China’s cross-border e‑commerce sector. Participating companies can use this platform to tap into high‑quality global procurement resources and seize early opportunities in the burgeoning cross-border e‑commerce landscape.
