The Hong Kong Book Fair is the largest and most influential book fair in Asia. It has been held since 1990 and is a major event in Hong Kong every summer. It provides a platform for publishers to promote new books and offers readers the opportunity to meet authors and discover new publications. The Hong Kong Book Fair had an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters at its last event, with 780 participating companies from China, Taiwan, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Spain, Brazil, Dubai, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, etc., and over 120,000 attendees.

The Hong Kong Book Fair collaborates annually with multiple publishing houses and professional institutions to set a unique theme, around which various activities are organized. The Hong Kong Book Fair focuses on on-site book sales, similar to book fairs in mainland China.
