As an important milestone in its development history, the Shanghai Book Fair has generated high expectations and anticipation from the national publishing and distribution industry, the general public, and all sectors of society this year. The Shanghai Book Fair will spare no effort to present itself with more innovative approaches, more solid measures, and greater enthusiasm, striving to create a grand gathering for book lovers across Shanghai and even China.

The Shanghai Book Fair has become one of the most significant annual new book launch events in China, serving as a reading trendsetter for individual readers, and is one of the country's most influential book fairs. It is also an important component of promoting the 'Shanghai Culture' brand.

In response to the 'three hows', the Shanghai Book Fair actively promotes the exhibition model of '1+1+X+N', aiming to highlight 'four more', namely, stronger theme promotion, livelier reading scenarios, higher quality on-site services, and deeper brand influence. This will facilitate the integration of online and offline reading, showcase new consumption patterns, trends, and models in reading, and vividly integrate cultural, sports, tourism, commerce, and exhibition activities. It will deepen the city's work on universal reading, creating a strong atmosphere of 'Shanghai书香Shanghai'.

Jiangsu Province is the Guest of Honor for this session of the Shanghai Book Fair. Preliminary statistics indicate that the total number of activities at the main venue, distinctive sub-venues, and reading sub-venues of the Shanghai Book Fair could reach 1,000. During the event, there will be a focus on 'first releases', 'first exhibitions', and 'first signings', with high-quality activities such as new book launches, lectures by famous authors, and author signings. The fair will continue to promote the 'New Era Literary Climbing Plan' organized by the Chinese Writers Association. Other highlights include the Shanghai International Literary Week, the thematic publishing summit forum, the Shanghai Book Fair Reading Ceremony, the national digital fusion publishing premium exhibition, and the first National Knowledge Blogger Conference.
