FOOD TAIPEI (Taipei International Food Exhibition) is the largest and most comprehensive professional food industry exhibition in Taiwan, featuring the highest number of domestic and international exhibitors. It is co-located with four concurrent exhibitions: Food Machinery, Packaging, Foodservice Equipment, and Halal Products. It is an unmissable annual food industry event for the global Chinese food sector.
This year's Taipei Food Series exhibitions received unanimous praise from exhibitors, with bustling negotiations taking place everywhere among buyers from around the world. Notably, Jih Cheng Foods not only implemented ESG green sustainability practices but also launched a new line of prepared vermicelli products to meet consumer demand for quick and convenient meals, drawing packed crowds to its booth; Ivory White Cultural & Creative introduced Taiwanese-style sparkling beverages, attracting attention and inquiries from European and American businesses; Xuyuan Packaging showcased its fully automatic sleeve labeling and splicing machines, boasting a 70% energy saving, which highly appealed to U.S. buyers and resulted in successful orders; first-time exhibitor Sweet Delight from the Czech Republic, known for supplying cakes to internationally renowned chains, garnered significant interest from foodservice operators, who recognized the exhibition as an excellent platform for tapping into the Asian market.
To help exhibitors connect with overseas business opportunities, FOOD TAIPEI hosted multiple matchmaking events during the exhibition, including the Industrial Supply Chain Procurement Matchmaking and Food Distributor Procurement Conference. A total of 855 meetings were arranged, facilitating negotiations between 149 buyers and exhibitors, generating overwhelming business potential. The organizer expanded invitations to internationally renowned enterprises, including Mexico's leading food company Grupo Herdez, Japan's Distribution Industry Corporation, H Mart (the largest Korean supermarket chain in the U.S.), and Southeast Asian e-commerce platform Lazada.
The top five countries/regions of origin for attendees at FOOD TAIPEI were Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China), and the Philippines. As a key platform for Asia's professional food industry, the exhibition also aims to provide high-quality, healthy, and convenient food products to meet local dietary and health needs.
