ITB Americas positions itself as the only travel trade show covering North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean, encompassing all tourism segments—from adventure and responsible tourism to business travel.

Building on the success of ITB Berlin, ITB China, ITB Asia, and ITB India, Messe Berlin is expanding its B2B travel event portfolio with the launch of ITB Americas. This was announced at a Messe Berlin press conference, where a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Mexican Ambassador to Germany and representatives from the State of Jalisco.

With outbound travel from North America growing by 7% in 2024 and Latin America by nearly 10%, the Americas now account for a quarter of global travel volume. ITB Americas will bring together global tourism professionals across all sectors, including adventure and business travel, to establish the largest industry hub in the Americas.

ITB Americas aims to meet the region's growing demand for a unified travel platform, tailored specifically to the needs of the Americas. It is projected that 80% of exhibitors will be from the Americas, ensuring strong local relevance, while the remaining 20% will represent other global regions with significant international market potential.
