As a trade fair for the import industry, China (Qingdao) International Import Industry Expo is one of the most comprehensive brand fairs in the northern region of China. All exhibitors are either foreign companies or institutions in China, importers, or agents. The last exhibition gathered exquisite products from 34 countries and regions. There were 33,064 visitors, with more than 60% of them being visitors.
The 2022 Third Qingdao Import Expo has been upgraded to create six major themed product sectors: Fashion Consumer Goods, Smart Home, Food and Beverages, Daily Necessities, Beauty and Cosmetics, and Service Trade. Various thematic exhibition areas and a series of business activities will jointly create an exciting stage, and interactive channels such as business matching and forums will better meet the needs of domestic audiences at QIIE for supply chains, services, and market expansion. It will also provide a one-stop business platform for import industry brands and domestic buyers. China (Qingdao) Import Industry Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.

- Metro / rail
Take Qingdao Metro Line 13 to “Expo City Station” and get off. Exit through Exit A, then proceed directly into the exhibition hall via the connecting corridor.
- Air
From Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport: Take Metro Line 8 to “Qingdao North Station,” transfer to Metro Line 1 to “Jinggangshan Road Station,” and then transfer again to Metro Line 13 to “World Expo City Station.” The total journey takes approximately 100–120 minutes.
- Drive
Navigate to “Qingdao World Expo City,” which is located adjacent to Sansha Road and Binhai Avenue. After reaching the West Coast New Area via major thoroughfares such as the Jiaozhou Bay Tunnel, Qinglan Expressway (G22), and Shugang Expressway, follow the directional signage.
