ART021 HONG KONG Profile
As a funded project under the "Culture and Arts Event Fund" of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, ART021 HONG KONG is dedicated to bringing new perspectives and models to Hong Kong's art landscape. By collaborating with multiple iconic art venues across the city, it breaks the conventional patterns and definitions of art fairs. The event features: the Main Galleries Section, Moving Image Section, ART021 OUTSIDE (Public Art), Art Tours, and a specially curated Greater Bay Area Art Week.
ART021 HONG KONG marks the debut of a mainland Chinese art fair brand in Hong Kong. In addition to the main gallery section, various segments of the fair are distributed across multiple cultural landmarks throughout the city.
Guided by the philosophy of "Rooted in China, Embracing the World," ART021 has successfully established large-scale art fairs in Shanghai and Beijing. With its expansion to Hong Kong, the organizers aim to leverage the city's role as a multicultural exchange hub to strengthen connections within the art ecosystem. Through a diverse and inclusive program lineup, the fair seeks to deliver greater value to art enthusiasts, the city, and local communities.
The five major sections of this "ART021 HONG KONG" edition will feature 82 galleries from 13 countries and regions, with 9 galleries participating in a Hong Kong art fair for the first time. Collectors from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau will form the majority, alongside a significant presence of collectors from Asia and other international regions.
