Since its establishment in 1991 with the approval of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Shanghai International Vacuum Exhibition (IVE) has grown into the most historically significant and influential industry event in the global vacuum technology sector. Alongside the rapid growth of China's vacuum industry, the number of exhibiting companies and professional visitors has increased exponentially, making it the most influential comprehensive exhibition platform for vacuum technology in the Asia-Pacific region.

The IVE brings together nearly 180 enterprises from over a dozen countries and regions, including the United States, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. With over 300 booths, the exhibition showcases cutting-edge achievements in global vacuum technology.
