Xinjiang International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment ExhibitionProfile

The Xinjiang International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) is forging a hub of innovation in the oil and gas sector. The “CIPPE Buyer–Supplier Matchmaking Event” is a flagship initiative of CIPPE’s Xinjiang Oil Show, designed to provide an efficient, precise, and trustworthy platform for supply‑demand exchange.

Located in the heart of the Eurasian continent, Xinjiang borders Central, South, and West Asian countries and connects China’s vast domestic market with international markets, each boasting a population of over one billion. As a key gateway and strategic base for China’s opening-up policy, Xinjiang has emerged as an important national center for large‑scale oil and gas production, refining and petrochemical processing, petroleum storage, and engineering‑technical services.

The oil and gas industry not only serves as a vital pillar of Xinjiang’s industrial economy but also plays an irreplaceable role in safeguarding national energy security and supporting the Belt and Road Initiative. Since the Central Symposium on Work in Xinjiang, the central government, the autonomous region, and China National Petroleum Corporation have introduced a series of policies and measures aimed at fostering Xinjiang’s leapfrog development and long-term stability, providing robust impetus and a highly favorable environment for sustained growth. With the deepening implementation of national aid programs for Xinjiang and the launch of the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative, Xinjiang’s oil‑field equipment manufacturing and new‑technology R&D sectors are poised for unprecedented opportunities and expansive market prospects.

The Xinjiang International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) spans a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, bringing together more than 500 enterprises from across China and abroad. It is expected to attract approximately 50,000 visitors from both domestic and international markets.

The Xinjiang International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE) will convene leading industry players—including trade associations, petroleum and petrochemical equipment manufacturers, research institutes, and prominent industry media—to discuss pressing issues and emerging trends, assess future development trajectories, and facilitate effective alignment of resources, technologies, information, and scientific‑technological achievements. CIPPE has progressively expanded its reach to cover North China, East China, and Southwest China, establishing itself as a one‑stop platform serving China’s oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Exhibition Review

The 2026 Xinjiang International Petroleum and Chemical Technology Equipment Exhibition concluded successfully, with a 40,000-square-meter exhibition space fostering global energy cooperation.

From July 16 to 18, the 2026 Xinjiang International Petroleum and Chemical Technology Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE Xinjiang) came to a successful close at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Over its three-day run, leveraging Xinjiang’s strategic position as a core hub of China’s national-level energy production base, the event brought together premium resources from across the global industry chain, delivering a high‑quality outcome for industrial development: with a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, nearly 500 domestic and international oil, gas, petrochemical, new‑energy, and supporting‑industry enterprises participated, showcasing close to 10,000 cutting‑edge energy technology equipment items and comprehensively highlighting the sector’s robust capabilities.

This edition of the exhibition set new records in both the breadth and depth of its industry coverage, encompassing key segments across the entire value chain—including oil and gas exploration and development, drilling and production equipment, oil and gas storage and transportation, smart oilfields, green chemistry, energy storage, and integrated energy services. Major state‑owned oil and gas enterprises such as PetroChina Western Drilling, Sinopec Jingwei, and CNOOC Energy Development were all present; leading equipment manufacturers including XCMG Group, Anton Oilfield, Shanghai Shenkai, Shandong Kairui, and CSSC Central South Equipment also made prominent appearances, showcasing their latest independently developed technologies and core achievements. In alignment with the national “Dual Carbon” strategy and the Fifth Five‑Year Plan for green energy transformation, the exhibition concurrently hosted the 2026 Xinjiang International Hydrogen Energy Technology Equipment Exhibition, aiming to advance the energy sector’s efforts to build a diversified, synergistic, clean, and efficient modern energy supply system.

The international procurement scale of this year’s event reached a new high, attracting a diverse contingent of overseas professional visitors. Representatives from institutions such as the Tajikistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Colombia’s Mining and Energy Planning Agency, and Namibia National Petroleum Corporation attended to explore sourcing opportunities. Domestically, purchasing teams from PetroChina Xinjiang Oilfield Company, Sinopec Northwest Oilfield Company, Guanghui Energy, and other enterprises gathered on site. Concurrently, at the Central Asia–Middle East–Africa Oil, Gas, and Chemical Industry Forum and International Procurement Matchmaking Event, representatives from multiple countries engaged in discussions with domestic exhibitors, resulting in numerous cooperation agreements and effectively expanding channels for Chinese energy equipment to enter international markets.

In parallel with the main exhibition, the fourth China Deep‑Well and Ultra‑Deep‑Well Oil and Gas Development Forum and the China (Xinjiang) Petrochemical and New‑Energy Coupling Development Forum were held, bringing together dozens of technical experts to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as tackling challenges associated with wells exceeding 10,000 meters in depth, intelligent drilling and completion technologies, ultra‑deep fracturing, coal chemical optimization, and solid waste resource utilization. The organizing committee also arranged field visits for exhibiting companies to the Western Drilling Engineering Technology Research Institute, further advancing technological exchanges and strengthening industry linkages.

This year’s exhibition was seamlessly coordinated with the 16th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo, the 21st China Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo, and the 2026 Xinjiang International Chemical Technology Equipment Expo, breaking down resource barriers across petroleum, coal, mining, chemical, and new‑energy sectors. This integration facilitated mutual access to procurement resources and shared visitor traffic, providing attendees with a one‑stop platform offering comprehensive services across all industry categories.

The CIPPE series of petroleum exhibitions has consistently aligned itself with the overarching national energy development agenda. The 2026 Chengdu International Petroleum and Chemical Technology Equipment Exhibition will be held from September 21 to 23 at the Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu, featuring an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters. It is expected to attract 400 participating enterprises and approximately 20,000 professional visitors, focusing on sectors such as petroleum and petrochemicals, natural gas, pipeline storage and transportation, and hydrogen energy, thereby further deepening China’s connectivity with the global energy industry.
