Xinjiang Mining and Equipment Exhibition – Xinjiang Mining Expo

From July 18 to 20, 2025, the 15th Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo and the 20th Xinjiang International Coal Industry Expo, themed “New-Generation Productivity and Global Mining Cooperation,” were successfully held at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was guided by the China National Coal Association and co-organized by the Xinjiang Mining Federation and other entities. With an exhibition area exceeding 110,000 square meters, it featured 13 thematic sections, including the New-Generation Productivity Innovation Pavilion, the Digital Technology Integration Pavilion, and an outdoor major equipment zone. Over 800 exhibiting companies from 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, as well as from Germany, the United States, Japan, Sweden, Russia, Uzbekistan, and other countries, participated, attracting a total of 110,000 professional visitors.

An unprecedented exhibitor lineup showcased innovative achievements spanning the entire industry chain. China Coal Science and Technology Group brought together 19 second-tier subsidiaries to present more than 200 advanced technologies and high-end equipment covering safe and green coal mining, as well as clean and efficient utilization. Leading domestic enterprises such as Zhengzhou Coal Machinery, Xi’an Heavy Machinery, Shanghai Chuangli, and Shandong Mining Machinery competed alongside cutting-edge smart technology firms like EasyControl Intelligent Driving, Xinglu Intelligent Driving, and Junfei Intelligence. For the first time, the expo introduced a dedicated exhibit on mining charging infrastructure, highlighting advanced technologies such as ultra-fast charging, mobile charging, and wireless charging, which became a major highlight of the event.

Jun Dong’s “black tech” shone brightly, with deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. The Jun Dong Economic and Technological Development Zone’s specially designed 120-square-meter exhibit emerged as a standout feature, showcasing innovations such as a hundred-ton-class new-energy autonomous mining truck, a remotely controlled excavator, drones tailored for mining operations, and intelligent live-line cleaning equipment. Junfei Intelligent Services Co., Ltd. sealed a project cooperation agreement and signed a memorandum of understanding on-site with the Navoi Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, Beijing Paterson Technology won the “Expert Recommendation Award” for its seismic frequency resonance technology, underscoring the expo’s pivotal role in facilitating the efficient transformation of technology into capital and industry.

A rich array of concurrent events yielded fruitful international outcomes. During the expo, a series of activities were successfully organized, including the Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum, the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan Railway and Mining Development Strategy Seminar, the Launch Ceremony of the National Mining Key Provinces (Regions) New-Generation Productivity Cooperation Alliance, a Special Symposium on Mining Charging and New Energy, and an Academic Exchange Meeting on Frontiers of Hydrothermal Ore Deposit Research. Officials from embassies and consulates of Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and other countries, along with representatives of industry organizations, actively participated, jointly exploring new opportunities for mining cooperation along the Belt and Road Initiative.

Strong industry response and significant procurement results. On-site purchasing delegations demonstrated robust buying power, with numerous companies reaching preliminary cooperation agreements. The EasyControl Intelligent Driving model of a hundred-ton-class new-energy autonomous mining truck drew extensive inquiries, while the Jun Dong Development Zone’s exhibit secured multiple memoranda of understanding. The successful staging of this year’s expo marks Xinjiang’s accelerated transition from a “resource-rich region” to a “mining innovation hub,” offering a “Chinese solution” and “Silk Road wisdom” for the sustainable development of global mining industries.
