World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit (Hong Kong)

Following its successful hosting of the World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit last year, Hong Kong once again partners with the World Internet Conference to host this flagship international internet event this year. The summit is hosted by the World Internet Conference, organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and co-organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau.

Themed "Digital Intelligence Empowerment, Innovative Development – Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace," the summit is expected to attract political and business leaders, representatives of international organizations, and experts and scholars from around the world to Hong Kong. Participants will engage in in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge global internet topics, aiming to drive high-quality development in innovation and technology, deepen regional digital cooperation, and jointly create new momentum and advantages for development in the Asia-Pacific region.

The main forum will feature the World Internet Conference Outstanding Contributors Ceremony, inviting several internationally renowned pioneers in innovation and technology to share their remarkable contributions to leading global internet development. Confirmed attendees currently include heads and high-level representatives of key international organizations and institutions such as the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the UN Industrial Development Organization, and the International Association for AI Governance, as well as "Father of the Internet in Africa" Nii Quaynor, Director-General of Smart Africa Alliance Latifou Koré, and "Father of the Internet in Korea" Kilnam Chon.
