The World Internet Conference in Wuzhen (World Internet Conference), as noted by Xi Jinping, underscores that digital technologies are comprehensively integrating—through new concepts, business forms, and models—into every sector and stage of human economic, political, cultural, social, and ecological‑civilization development, thereby exerting broad and profound impacts on people’s production and daily life.

On July 12, 2022, the International Organization of the World Internet Conference was officially established, evolving from a premier international event in the internet domain into an international organization headquartered in Beijing, China. We are committed to building a global platform for the joint consultation, co‑construction, and shared benefits of the internet, guiding the international community to embrace the trends of digitalization, networking, and intelligentization in the information age, collectively addressing security challenges, pursuing common development and well‑being, and working together to forge a community with a shared future in cyberspace.

The World Internet Conference in Wuzhen (World Internet Conference), this year’s summit will feature 24 parallel forums. As 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the proposal of the vision of a community with a shared future in cyberspace, the theme of this Wuzhen Summit has been set as “Building an Open, Cooperative, Secure, and Inclusive Digital‑Intelligent Future—Working Together to Construct a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace.” During the summit, a theoretical symposium commemorating the 10th anniversary of this vision will be held, reviewing the theoretical advances and practical experiences accumulated since its inception and mobilizing all stakeholders to forge broader synergies for its effective implementation.

It is understood that this summit will specially host the “Six Little Dragons Wuzhen Dialogue,” inviting leaders from cutting‑edge technology companies such as DeepSeek and Unitree Robotics to engage in exchanges on frontier trends—including global innovation and development in artificial intelligence—and explore cross‑sector collaboration to jointly tackle pressing global issues.

The Digital Training Institute will continue to organize capacity‑building programs aimed at enhancing digital literacy and skills, thereby helping to narrow the global digital divide. A showcase of “Exemplary Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace” will also be unveiled, leveraging best‑practice benchmarks to steer technological innovation toward broader societal benefits.

The “Light of the Internet” Expo will feature thematic pavilions centered on AI frontiers, the AI ecosystem, AI‑plus‑industry, and AI‑plus‑life, while also launching, for the first time, public‑education initiatives on internet literacy. The Leading Technology Awards have received more than 400 submissions from 34 countries, covering前沿 areas such as embodied intelligence and 6G.

Furthermore, building on the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Special Committee last year, this year’s summit will formally launch two additional specialized committees—on e‑commerce and on the digitalization of cultural heritage. The former will bring together global experts and business representatives to foster a favorable international business environment conducive to e‑commerce development.
