The China (Hefei) International Equipment Manufacturing Expo (CCEME, abbreviated as Hefei Equipment Expo) has been held since 2001 and has grown into one of the largest and most influential industrial expos in the Yangtze River Delta region. It is the longest-running, largest, and most impactful equipment manufacturing event in Anhui Province.

In 2022, the operating revenue of Anhui's equipment manufacturing industry (excluding automobiles and home appliances) exceeded RMB 950 billion, with a growth rate of approximately 15%, of which high-end equipment manufacturing accounted for about RMB 430 billion. Anhui's equipment manufacturing sector is undergoing a transformative upgrade from traditional manufacturing to "intelligent manufacturing."
