The 29th Jinan International Machine Tool Exhibition 2026 was successfully held from March 17 to 20 at the Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by Jinnuo Exhibitions, the event was accompanied by the 2026 China International Advanced Manufacturing Technology Expo, under the theme “A New Hall Ushers in a New Journey, Leading the Future with Intelligence.” It stands as the most significant annual platform for technological exchange and business matchmaking in the machine tool industry of Northern China.

For the first time, the exhibition was relocated to a national-level venue—the Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center—boasting an exhibition space exceeding 100,000 square meters, a 55% increase over 2025. Over the four-day event, a total of 63,511 professional visitors attended to explore and procure, marking a 20% growth compared to 2025.

In the metal cutting sector, leading brands such as Youjia, Haitian, Tsubaki, Lichi, Opurith, Dean, Guosheng, Weida, DeYang, Heideman, Santers, and Jinan No. 1 Machine Tool made prominent appearances. In laser sheet‑metal processing, industry leaders like Bond Laser, Han’s Laser, Hongniu Laser, Liwei Laser, Dingdian Laser, Baike Laser, and RuiTie Machine Tools were all present. In industrial automation, companies including Yaskawa, XuanYe, Chaifu, Changguangxi, Huatianlong, and Zhongke Hongwei showcased smart manufacturing solutions. Meanwhile, in the CNC systems and core components segment, Siemens, Huazhong CNC, Guangzhou CNC, Shangyin, CSK, YYC, PEK, Taikelo, ZhuZuan, Haliang, Shanggong, and Chengliang collectively displayed their latest offerings. Booths of Bond Laser, Baike Laser, RuiTie Machine Tools, Rongcan Precision, Guangjie Intelligent, and Zhongya Machine Tools drew particularly strong interest, resulting in multiple equipment transactions during the exhibition.

International Participation Significantly Enhanced. The exhibition hosted cross‑border supply‑demand matchmaking sessions for intelligent equipment, attracting 54 professional buyers from over ten countries—including Vietnam, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Sweden, Brazil, and Afghanistan—and facilitating more than 200 one‑on‑one meetings with over 100 local enterprises. Overseas professionals from Saudi Arabia, Spain, Pakistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Poland, and Vietnam also attended to explore and procure on site. Booths of Bond Laser, Hongniu Laser, and Zhongya Machine Tools enjoyed exceptional popularity, with numerous equipment sales concluded during the event, while RuJun Intelligent, LuChong Machine Tools, HaiKe Machine Tools, Tongchi CNC, and ChengMan Machine Tools reported frequent positive outcomes.

Showcase Highlights Abound, Cutting‑Edge Technologies on Display. Aligned with the trend toward smart manufacturing, this year’s exhibition focused on key manufacturing clusters such as automotive production, mold making, home appliance manufacturing, rail transit, and aerospace. At the venue, booths of Bond Laser, Hongniu Laser, and Zhongya Machine Tools attracted large crowds, with many units sold during the event. Concurrently, the exhibition featured more than ten high‑level conferences, including the 2026 Jinan (International) “AI + Manufacturing” Innovation and Development Industry Matchmaking Forum, the Cross‑Border Procurement Conference for Intelligent Equipment, and discussions on the opportunities presented by multi‑legged intelligent heavy‑load robots in national strategies and industrial development.

Impressive Order Results Achieved. According to preliminary statistics, the total transaction value exceeded RMB 700 million, with intended contract values reaching RMB 1.5 billion—an increase of nearly 30% over last year. Booths of Bond Laser, Baike Laser, RuiTie Machine Tools, Rongcan Precision, Guangjie Intelligent, Zhongya Machine Tools, Jintai CNC, and Zuoyong Electric witnessed robust demand, resulting in multiple equipment sales. Additionally, purchasing delegations from ShanTuo Agricultural Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., Jinan Artisan Craftsmanship Technology Co., Ltd., Liaocheng Xiangjiang Market, Hebei Xingtai Group, Nanpi Hardware Machinery Group, and Liaocheng Linqing Group visited the exhibition to make acquisitions.

A Siemens partner observed that customers arrive already well‑prepared, often bringing clear intentions, which facilitates direct on‑site negotiations and ensures higher‑quality engagements. Attendees agreed that, after nearly three decades of development, the Jinan International Machine Tool Exhibition has become the most influential specialized machine tool expo in Northern China, serving as a strategic platform for companies to showcase products, engage with clients, gain insights into market trends, and expand their presence in the northern market.
