Since its inaugural edition in 2015, the South China International Glass Industry Exhibition – Guangzhou Glass Show (CGE) has steadily grown in scale and impact, earning widespread recognition and favor among industry peers. It has now become an annual flagship event for the glass sector in South China.

The 2025 South China International Glass Industry Exhibition successfully concluded from August 22 to 24 at the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou. With an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, this edition brought together 520 exhibitors from around the world and attracted 50,000 professional visitors for on-site visits and procurement, setting a new record for the annual glass industry event in South China.
The exhibition comprehensively covered the entire glass industry value chain, including raw glass sheets, advanced processing equipment, laser technologies, automated production lines, and raw and auxiliary materials. Industry leaders such as South Glass Group, Xinyi Group, Jiangmen Yaopi, Zhongshan Grant, Haikong Glass, Yuanda Glass, Hewei Technology, Jinbo Intelligent, Lifeng Intelligent, Weili Intelligent, Fangding Technology, and Foshan Zhengxing showcased their latest technological products, effectively facilitating active collaboration between upstream and downstream enterprises.
A major highlight of this year’s event was the participation of ten fire-resistant glass system companies—including Tai’an Jingshun, Wuhan Jingshun, Hebei Rongwei, and Guangdong Hengbao—organized by the Glass Professional Committee of the China Building Materials Circulation Association. These companies presented their offerings under a “joint pavilion + independent booths” format, prominently displaying cutting-edge technologies and application achievements such as nano-silicon fire-resistant glass, high-borosilicate fire-resistant glass, and composite grouting fire-resistant glass, making this section one of the most popular areas of the show. Through physical product demonstrations, technical briefings, and case studies, participating companies established preliminary cooperation intentions with numerous decision-makers from architectural design institutes, real estate developers, and fire protection engineering firms.
High-tech enterprises like Chuangkeda unveiled a range of laser cutting, laser drilling, and laser sandblasting equipment, drawing significant attention from both domestic and international customers who stopped by to engage in discussions. The exhibits garnered extensive interest and inquiries from clients across Southeast Asia and European markets.
In alignment with the “going global” strategy, the exhibition actively extended procurement invitations to international markets, attracting professional buyers from over 20 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Russia, India, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea. Concurrently held events, such as the China–Malaysia and China–Vietnam glass trade matchmaking sessions, helped establish efficient channels of connection between China’s glass industry and global markets.
