The China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition (China Glass—shortened to China Glass), founded in 1986 by the Chinese Society of Silicate Materials, has become an internationally renowned professional trade show with fully independent intellectual property rights. It is the glass industry’s most commercially valuable platform for exhibition, technical exchange, and business negotiations, providing a key reference point for international consulting firms assessing the sector’s development. China Glass has thus emerged as a global “barometer” and “leading indicator” for the glass industry.

The China International Glass Industry Technology Exhibition (China Glass) brought together 881 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, occupying a total exhibition space of 90,000 square meters. Concurrent with the event, eight technical seminars were held, while more than twenty domestic and international specialized media outlets provided in-depth coverage and expert commentary. The exhibition drew over 107,353 professional visitors from nearly 105 countries and regions worldwide, firmly establishing itself as a premier international gathering for the glass industry.

Review
The 34th China International Glass Industry Exhibition (China Glass 2025) was successfully held from May 26 to 29, 2025, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing (Shunyi Venue). With the theme “Smart Manufacturing · Green Future,” the exhibition spanned 106,800 square meters, attracting 910 industry-leading enterprises from 31 countries and regions. Over the four-day event, it welcomed a total of 105,987 professional visitors from 136 countries and regions, including 13,140 international attendees—double the figure of the previous edition, marking a new all-time high.
The show provided comprehensive coverage of the entire glass industry value chain, showcasing cutting-edge innovations across multiple segments, including advanced glass products and auxiliary materials, new-energy and information-display glasses, intelligent deep-processing equipment, novel refractory materials and combustion technologies, smart inspection systems, as well as everyday and artistic glassware. Three major trends emerged as key highlights: first, the accelerated transition toward green and low-carbon solutions, with a surge in photovoltaic glass, power-generating glass, energy-efficient architectural glass, and sustainable production technologies such as oxy-fuel combustion and electric-assisted melting; second, the deepening integration of smart manufacturing and digital transformation, with AI, big data, and IoT technologies seamlessly embedded into glass production processes; and third, the rise of high-value-added glass types, with ultra-thin flexible glass, electronic touch‑screen glass, fire-resistant glass, and pharmaceutical-grade glass serving as engines of innovation.
Leading domestic and international companies competed on the same stage. Kaisheng Group unveiled groundbreaking innovations, including 30-micron ultra-thin flexible foldable glass, 0.12-mm electronic touch‑screen glass, and an inspection‑and‑maintenance composite robot. The China Building Materials Academy presented end-to-end industry-chain breakthroughs, signing cooperation agreements totaling over RMB 200 million with seven enterprises on-site. Beibo Co., Ltd. showcased its fourth-generation high-end tempering furnaces, glazed glass, and a tempered‑glass cloud‑based management system, welcoming nearly 3,000 customers from 40 countries worldwide. Landi Machinery made its global debut with the Qingtian series of intelligent tempering equipment and a fourth-generation soft‑axis curved‑glass solution. Internationally, companies such as Glasstec, Lasec, Bautro, and Air Products gathered in Hall E1, where Lasec demonstrated an integrated machine capable of cutting, vertical edge grinding, and hollow‑glass production.
Concurrent with the exhibition, ten high-level international technical seminars were held, addressing topics ranging from kiln innovation and intelligent tempering to AI‑based inspection and automated hollow‑glass production. The China Daily Glass Association organized 45 enterprises to participate under the “Daily Glass Pavilion” banner, occupying a total of 114 booths. The next edition of the exhibition is scheduled to take place in Shanghai from April 7 to 10, 2026.
