展会简介
- A leading indicator and core platform for the high-quality development of the electronic information industry in Western China.Since its inception in 2007, the show has been held in Chengdu since 2013 and was officially renamed the China (Western) Electronic Information Expo in 2020. To date, it has successfully convened thirteen editions. The event is guided by authoritative bodies such as the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, and organized by China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation, among others. It aligns closely with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Action Plan for Stabilizing Growth in the Electronic Information Manufacturing Sector” and the National Data Administration’s “Data Elements ×” initiative. Anchored in the national strategy of building the Chengdu–Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, the expo directly serves Sichuan’s electronic information industry cluster—boasting an output value exceeding RMB 1.68 trillion—and the broader Chengdu–Chongqing advanced manufacturing cluster, valued at approximately RMB 1.7 trillion. As such, it serves as a strategic gateway for enterprises to tap into policy benefits and integrate into the regional industrial ecosystem.
- A dual-hall synergy spanning the entire industry chain—“Digital Intelligence Innovation + Basic Electronics”—with a comprehensive overview across ten thematic sections. The expo features two dedicated pavilions: the Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall (Hall 8) and the Basic Electronics Hall (Hall 9). The Digital Intelligence Innovation Hall focuses on cutting-edge fields such as smart terminals, the low-altitude economy, next-generation displays, digital infrastructure, and intelligent manufacturing, while the Basic Electronics Hall delves into core foundational areas including integrated circuits, electronic components, specialized electronics, test and measurement equipment, and SMT machinery. From AI servers and high-end storage solutions to MLCC miniaturization technologies, and from semiconductor fabrication tools to microwave and RF instruments, the expo offers a complete panorama of the electronic information industry’s full-chain innovation ecosystem—from core components to end‑use applications.
- Gathering global buyer networks to establish an international hub for business matchmaking. For the 2025 edition, more than 500 industry-leading companies are expected to participate, attracting over 20,000 professional visitors. During the event, more than 120 supply‑demand lists will be released, covering areas such as electronic materials procurement, supply chain management services, and next‑generation technology collaborations, resulting in 19 on‑site contracts totaling RMB 56 million. Specialized matchmaking sessions—such as the Electronic Components Industry Chain Supply‑Chain Cooperation Forum and the Digital Economy Enterprise Investment‑Financing Matchmaking Conference—provide exhibitors with efficient channels to connect precisely with the region’s trillion‑yuan market demand.
- Three‑dimensional empowerment through “Exhibition + Conference + Competition,” fostering deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application.Concurrent with the expo, more than ten specialized conferences will be held, including the Data Elements Application Conference, the Storage‑Computing Conference, and the Western Microwave and RF Technology Symposium. These events will bring together senior executives from companies such as AMD, Alibaba DingTalk, and China Telecom, along with experts from national key laboratories, to engage in in-depth discussions on hot topics like industrial development in the AI era, large‑model intelligent agents, and multi‑agent collaboration. In addition, the 9th “Kuaike Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Welding Skills Competition and the 2nd “Yibo Cup” National Electronic Manufacturing Competition will take place concurrently, providing a platform for industry professionals to hone their skills and showcase innovative solutions.
- A robust specialized electronics zone empowers the aerospace industry chain. The expo features a dedicated Specialized Electronics Zone, bringing together over 100 specialized electronics enterprises—including the China Academy of Electronics Chip Technology Research Institute, the China Academy of Electronics Industrial Foundation Research Institute, Loongson Technology, the 214th Institute of the China North Industries Group Corporation, and Yuanliu Hongyuan—where they will collectively present their independently developed core products and cutting-edge technologies, thereby providing critical support for the development of the aerospace industry supply chain ecosystem in the Chengdu–Chongqing region.
