China Beijing International Emergency Management Exhibition – China Emergency Expo

The China International Emergency Management Exhibition 2025 (China Emergency Expo) was successfully held at the National Convention Center in Beijing from November 18 to 20. Hosted by the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the event was themed “Empowering with New Quality, Smart Emergency Response” and represented a key initiative under the international cooperation mechanism for natural disaster prevention and emergency management within the Belt and Road framework. Vice Minister of Emergency Management Xu Jia’ai attended the opening ceremony, delivered a speech, and officially declared the exhibition open before conducting an on-site inspection.

Exhibition Space and Exhibitor Scale Reach New Heights. This year’s exhibition spanned over 40,000 square meters, nearly doubling the area of the previous two editions, with simultaneous use of Halls 1 and 2 of the National Convention Center. More than 300 renowned domestic and international enterprises participated, showcasing products across multiple domains, including aviation-based emergency response equipment and unmanned emergency systems, information technology solutions for emergency management, safety production and accident rescue gear, comprehensive firefighting and rescue equipment, disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief tools, personal protective equipment, and individualized gear for rescue personnel. The event attracted over 83,000 professional visitors, marking significant growth in both scale and attendance compared to prior editions. Participating exhibitors included leading national players such as Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Shipbuilding Group, China North Industries Group, State Energy Investment Corporation, China Unicom, China Mobile, Huawei, ZTE, DJI, SANY Heavy Industry, XCMG Group, alongside global brands like Dräger, MSA, Ansell, and Rieker.

Detailed Zone Layout Highlights Aviation and Unmanned Systems. The exhibition featured six specialized zones, with particular attention drawn to the aviation emergency response and unmanned systems areas. Aviation Industry Corporation of China showcased innovative offerings such as the AG600 large amphibious aircraft, the MA60 fire-fighting aircraft, the Wing Loong-2H emergency relief drone system, and the XuanGe-500 civilian unmanned helicopter. DJI presented its Airport 3 series, Matrice 4-series intelligent drones, and the SkyPort 2 all-in-one drone control platform. Kexi Technology, in collaboration with Zhongji Emergency, highlighted its “chip–whole machine–system–application” full-stack AI capability, focusing on its AI-powered unmanned swarm system and organizing four dedicated zones covering smart chips, unmanned equipment, wireless communications, and large-scale AI models. This system has already been validated through practical application during the “Emergency Mission·2025” exercise, enabling closed-loop management encompassing detection, assessment, and response.

“Low-Altitude Economy + Emergency Management” Emerges as a Key Discussion Topic. During the exhibition, a high-level symposium titled “High-Quality Development Dialogue on Low-Altitude Economy and Emergency Management” was held. Yan Peng, former Assistant Director-General of the National Fire and Rescue Bureau and Chief Expert on Aviation Emergency Rescue at the Chinese Aeronautical Society, shared insights, emphasizing that addressing low-altitude economic security risks should be a central focus in modernizing governance systems and capabilities. Huang Lingcai, Chief Designer of the AG600 series at AVIC General Aircraft, outlined pathways for promoting aviation emergency rescue equipment—such as large firefighting aircraft—to partner countries along the Belt and Road. Meanwhile, Chen Shengwei, a systems engineer at China Mobile’s Chengdu Research Institute, proposed building an integrated “air–space–ground–sea” three-dimensional network.

International Buyer-Matching Activities Prove Highly Effective. This edition further refined the overseas buyer-matching mechanism, adopting a precise pre-exhibition registration and targeted screening approach. Following rigorous vetting, 125 professional buyers from 21 countries across four continents—including Italy, Congo, Iran, Poland, Nepal, Ghana, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Syria, Uganda, Central African Republic, Morocco, Zambia, Russian Federation, and Australia—were invited to attend. Their procurement needs spanned firefighting and rescue equipment, personal protective gear, and unmanned rescue systems, resulting in approximately 150 one-on-one business meetings with representatives from over 70 domestic enterprises, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Buyer delegations made focused visits to booths of Fokun Aviation, Shengxun Electronics, SANY Heavy Industry, XCMG Group, Guoxing Intelligence, and other prominent companies.

Rich Concurrent Events Yield Significant Supply-Demand Outcomes. The exhibition hosted more than ten specialized events, including supply-demand matchmaking sessions for innovations in safety production and emergency rescue technologies, as well as bilateral exchanges on technical equipment for emergency management among Belt and Road partner nations. Representatives from rescue teams such as the Shandong Energy Mine Rescue Team and the Zhongyuan Oilfield Hazardous Chemicals Emergency Rescue Team shared updates on equipment development and procurement requirements. Companies like XCMG Group and Mingguang Haomiao introduced their latest products in monitoring, early warning, and firefighting fields. At the “Strengthening Innovation-Driven Development and Optimizing Industrial Ecosystem—2025 Symposium on High-Quality Development of Emergency Equipment and Related Industries,” Shan Chunchang, former Deputy Director of the National Disaster Reduction Commission’s Expert Committee, emphasized that China’s safety and emergency industries must seize opportunities to build a comprehensive national emergency equipment system covering all types of disasters and spanning the entire industrial chain.

AI-Powered Emergency Medical Rescue Zone Makes Its Debut. Originally planned as a separate event, the 2025 Emergency Medical Rescue Equipment Technology Expo was integrated into this year’s exhibition, with the addition of a dedicated AI-driven medical rescue zone. This zone showcased cutting-edge innovations such as AI-assisted diagnostics, telemedicine, and emergency medical rescue equipment, further enriching the exhibition’s professional scope.

Strong Positive Feedback from Exhibitors and Industry Participants. Shen Jian, General Manager of Kexi Technology, stated that the company’s core strategy revolves around “an independently controllable technological foundation coupled with empowerment across diverse scenarios,” driving the application of artificial intelligence in emergency response, defense industries, and mining sectors. Zhang Xiaoning, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, noted during the opening ceremony that this year’s exhibits closely aligned with China’s strategic direction for advancing emergency management technology, with most entries selected for inclusion in various catalogs of advanced applicable technologies, exemplary cases, and science-and-technology award lists.
