China Marine Economy Expo – CME Expo

The China Marine Economy Expo (CHINA MARINE ECONOMY EXPO, abbreviated as CME Expo), is the only national-level marine economy exhibition in China. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, it serves as a vital platform for accelerating marine technological innovation, enhancing marine resource development capabilities, fostering and expanding strategic emerging industries in the marine sector, and promoting maritime connectivity and pragmatic cooperation across various fields.

The China Marine Economy Expo boasts an exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters. Inside the venue, there is one main hall alongside N specialized thematic zones; outside, a dedicated leisure boat zone has been established. Centered around six major application scenarios—shipbuilding and port logistics, offshore oil and gas & mineral resource development, marine engineering and environmental protection, marine information technology, marine biology and pharmaceuticals, and marine tourism and culture—the expo showcases cutting-edge achievements, frontier technologies, and international collaboration opportunities, offering visitors a comprehensive view of upstream and downstream exchanges, innovations, and applications within the marine industry chain, with exciting experiences available both online and offline.

Leading exhibitors are gathered, including industry giants such as China Merchants Group, CSSC, CNOOC, CNPC, CIMC, Shenzhen Port, Nanshan Group, and Zhongtian Technology, as well as key research institutions directly affiliated with the Ministry of Natural Resources—including the National Marine Information Center, Ocean University of China, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology, and Guangdong Marine Association—alongside prominent universities.
