South Asia Expo

The South Asia Expo (China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair) is jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and South Asian countries in the fields of economy, trade, science and technology, education, culture, and more.

The South Asia Expo (China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair) covers an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters, featuring the following pavilions: Manufacturing Pavilion, Green Energy Pavilion, Premium Lifestyle Pavilion, Domestic Cooperation Pavilion, Overseas Pavilion, Southeast Asia Pavilion, Opening Hall, South Asia Pavilions (two pavilions), “Living in Yunnan” Pavilion, Medical, Sports, and Wellness Pavilion, Modern Agriculture Pavilion, Coffee Industry Pavilion, “The South Asia Expo—Never Closing” (two pavilions operating on a year-round basis during interim periods), and Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Pavilion.

As one of this year’s key economic and trade exchange events between China and South Asian nations, it plays a vital role in advancing multilateral diplomacy, economic and trade cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges. The South Asia Expo (China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair) also invites the commerce authorities of South Asian countries to co-host this international exposition.

The South Asia Expo (China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair) serves as a new platform for the nation to open up toward Southwest China and strengthen comprehensive exchanges and cooperation with South Asia, Southeast Asia, West Asia, and other countries and regions.

South Asia Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
